Charming café we stopped at while traveling through the Linville area. The flavor profiles of the sandwiches in particular were... surprisingly sophisticated while utilizing simple and classic ingredients. I savored every bite! Absolutely fantastic. What adelightful gem. Read more

If you want homemade hot sandwiches, you need to stop here. Food is great, the owner is nice and helpful. They even gave us... cookies while we waited. Nice gem after leaving grandfather mountain. Read more

Twice we have come to the cafe during what their automated phone voicemail said were Open Hours. Wed - Saturday 8am Both times... the cafe was closed with no signage or anything explaining why. We really wanted to try the place but both times we were unableto. Probably won't be trying again at this point because its not worth making the drive over there if you cant count on thebusiness being open during their published hours. EDIT: In reference to their response I literally said I called and theautomated voicemail said you were open. So if you don't want people to come when you're closed perhaps change your voicemail soit doesn't tell people you are open. Read more

Don't pass this one up ya'll! Coffee is brewed fresh, cookies are great, and the sandwhiches/soup fill you up. I had the chicken... caprese and it was pefect after a morning's hike. I came down to the area to do some camping, check out the mountains and thiscafe is awesome! It is in a good location, not too far out of the way, and the owner Davin helped me to feel welcomed with acoffee first thing in the morning before all the chairs were off the table, a long with, conversation that just felt good to behaving. I was able to work on some schoolwork as well and the staff is super friendly. 10/10 but I can only give 5 stars! Read more

OK, this was a gem. Got off the Blue Ridge Parkway near this little town. Stopped at a plaza and found this really unique... cafe. Food was amazing. Had a turkey club sandwich and wedge salad. Unassuming names for food that was beyond its title. Seasonings and a blue cheese dressing made right in front of us. It was amazing. Read more

Stopped here to get a latte on Friday, July 8th and it was very good. I got the cinnamon caramel (If I remember correctly)... latte. I would like to try some more of their lattes and try some of their food the next time I'm in this area. Read more

Little Deer Cafe made six of the most beautiful cheesecakes for my son and daughter-n-laws rehearsal dinner! Not only were they... beautiful, but they were some of the best tasting cheesecakes I have ever had! I would highly recommend! Read more

The cafe is located in a small development that was built to resemble more traditional buildings and came out to look almost... alpine (?) Friendly, fast, and with a wide variety of warm or cold sandwiches that come with added finesse. The portobello meltwith a mix of cheeses was delicious and the adult grilled cheese with added dried tomatoes and bacon pleased my companion.Lattes are above average and so are the scones that come at a wide variety, add fast free wifi and I wonder why they are notswarmed.
