The Pork Katsu here is awesome. Thin, crispy, and served with great cabbage salad and perfectly cooked rice. The staff is very... friendly and makes it obvious they care about their customers. We order from here several times a year and will continue to keepcoming back! Read more

First time visiting, and everything was excellent and generously served. California rolls were delicious and beef teriyaki was... very flavorful and just spicy enough. Friendly staff as well. Will definitely return! Read more

My usual Korean food place was closed so I tried Tanaka sushi. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised! The Korean food... was delicious and the server was polite and kind. We even got side dishes to munch on while we waited on our food.. I woulddefinitely come back again and bring friends..I can't wait to try the sushi next... Read more

A passable place. Price is a little up there, fish is fresh but has a very muted taste (unlike, say, Sushi Ukai or Lawrence Fish... Market, whose fish is very fresh AND very flavorful). The fish tasted kinda "refrigerated", if you well. Katsu and tempura arelight, but the breading is a little bit "hard". It was not as fluffy and juicy as I hoped it would be. I also had the Koreancold noodles (summer special), which was... the best dish of the bunch? The noodles are very sticky though due to it being cold,so I had to use the fork rather than chopsticks for it, but it had a nice mouthfeel. The broth and vegetables are quitevinegary. It is like a kimchi soup but without the chilies and made with hard vegetables rather than soft vegetables, if youwill. The meat that came with the noodles was also nice to taste, though I would've liked a lot more of it. It's rather like thesliced beef flanks you can find as small plates in Chinese restaurants such as Xi'an Cuisine or Minghin. Overall, I wouldn'treally recommend Tanaka Sushi, although I get the feeling that they do the Korean soups better than they do Japanese cuisine.I've only tried the cold Korean noodles, but if you are curious about Korean cuisine in general, it might be worth a try. Very good and quick service. Cost a little high, not the best flavor in the bibimbam but the nigiri salmon was good.

This is a hidden gem. Every dish was prepared super hot and delicious. The sushi was fresh and paired with excellent drizzle... of dressing! The restaurant is very clean. Decor and setting is very simple, but food is excellent! You order your dishes atthe front counter. They'll call your number when your dishes are ready, so pretty much self-service. Read more
