I have driven by many times in way to Ithaca and was always intrigued by this place. Finally decided to stop in on thursday... around 7pm. The parking lot was jammed with pick up trucks and duallies. Went inside and it was what I expected a real dealAmerican country bar with worn floors, pool table and an old wooden bar with dollar bills stuck all over the ceiling. Buddrafts were $2 and bottles were $2.75. A small very friendly group were having drinks and everyone knew each other. All thetrucks were because of thurs night horse shoe tournament in the back where there were at least 20 people playing. Had two quickones and was on my way. Before I left I hit the head expecting the worst and much to my surprise it was super clean andspotless! So glad I stopped in and would recommend anyone else to do the same. Read more
