Delicious food! The black bean soup was unique from others I have tried. Their housemade cornchips have so much flavor. The menu... offered classic tacos and some creative options as well. Definitely a more filling taco than some other places i have enjoyedtacos at. Our first time there was so fun! The bartenders are skilled, generous and brilliant! Let's just say, take out might be what you'll want to do if you're only planning on eating. The wait for the food is just alot... longer then it should be. If you want to get some drinks, it has a good atmosphere. Ordered the chips and guac, received nicewarm tasty chips and what I can only assume was avocado cut up and stirred (not sure if that can actually ever be called guac inany kitchen). Ordered revenge of the Krakon and the presentation was completely different from what was supposed to be there.The Birria and the Korean tacos were definitely really good. The Birria had a lot cheese and beef, the dipping sauce didn'treally add much to the flavor as you'd expect from a birria taco, but the taco is very good. Oh wow! This place is such a hit! Go now before everyone discovers it and you can't get in! Beautifully decorated, quaint,... friendly staff, amazing drinks, high top tables and booths, and the FOOD! My husband and I were incredibly excited to try atc south street for my birthday. We had high hopes given how great @ the corner... has been over the years. The cocktails were incredible! Every single one was perfect. However the tacos were terrible. I was sodisappointed. We decided to try the churros for dessert and they were delicious. I just can?t get past my disappointment in theflavorless inauthentic tacos. We tried all but the vegetarian taco. The chicken and the pork were flavorless. The steak waschewy and sliced too thick, but had the most flavor. The beef short rib needs more flavor and needs to be grilled more so theshell has a little crunch. The tuna was bland. Everything needed salt. The cocktails were good enough to warrant another trip,hopefully they will make some changes based on the feed back they get over the coming weeks. Went for something quick, the décor is fake Mexican hipster modern, the food is better than chain restaurant like Moe's but not... by much. Menu was a bit thin with only a few "entre" selections. This is a snack shop with a bar not much else. Read more
