I like it, overall, but with one serious caveat. It is an acoustical nightmare when it's busy. The small bar is just off the... main dining area. Even in there, the hard surfaces amplify the sound. The covered porch is better in that regard, although thelast time we were there, we were seated next to a vacant table for six. We'd just finished our appetizers when three coupleswere seated there. They were clearly outgoing and expansive from the start. My wife and eye exchanged glances - we knew whatwas coming. By the time our entrees arrived, the six of them were well into a round of drinks and became deafening, each onetrying to dominate the conversation by outshouting everyone else. I came close to asking the waiter if we could move to another(distant!) table. I don't know what management could have done to mute them. Eventually, they liked eating more than talkingwhich helped some, but they still persisted in talking over each other. Read more

I’ve been to this establishment many times but end up forgetting to take photos (due to the great times being had). The... location isn’t around much, but definitely worth the drive. I haven’t had a disappointing meal here. The staff is absolutelywonderful. I love how they made the outdoor patio. Will have to remember to take photos when I visit in the warmer months. Read more

Absolutely Amazing! This restaurant has good menu. The time for the food to come out is very quick! I got a regular cheese pizza... (No Toppings) and it was heavenly! It was amazing. The patio is beautiful! But the building itself needs some renovations, likenew wood, but overall a very clean and appetizing restaurant! You have to try it and see it for yourself! Read more

We've been here a couple of times. The service has been ok. The food is not quite what it should be for the price. Last night... solidified our abandonment of this establishment. We ordered pizza and calamari for pick up. The pizza was not even made when Iarrived. It wasn't extremely busy. Our calamari was made and was sitting there becoming gross and soggy. Thankfully they made usa new calamari, and it was delicious. The pizza was not. The chicken was inedible, and just tossed on in a bit of a clump. Thesauce was pooled to one side. The dough was ok, but nothing to make me come back and try something else. Read more

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants, always consistent with their food quality and level of service. Very pleasant... location and seating area, staff are very attentive and friendly at all times. The food is always excellent, I've never comeaway disappointed. The DaCapo Chips, fried calamari, and Caesar salad are my favorite appetizers, especially the chips. Theirpizza is probably my favorite in all of northwestern Connecticut! Crispy thin crust, flavorful sauce, fresh mozzarella, andfreshly sliced pepperoni are universally great. Other entrees and desserts are delicious too! Been loving DaCapo for many years, and will always be back for more! Read more

I ordered the lamb, my wife had the seafood risotto. The meals were delicious, the server Alyssa was great. It was a slow Sunday... afternoon so food didn't take long. The garden was pretty and we ate outside to enjoy the view. My only complaint is they usesoybean oil to cook and fry. Our plates were $35 each, they should use a higher quality ingredient at that price point. Idon'tknow about you but i don't know anybody who uses soybean oil at there house knowingly, only restaurants trying to save money. Read more

This was my first time here but i was fairly impressed, the patio area was beautiful but unfortunately had to move inside due to... the the amount of bugs (it was a little chilly as well so not the worse thing). I ordered a Pork tenderloin and i have to saythe amount of FLAVOR! It had was surprisingly tasty topped with bacon bits and cooked onions, along side the asparagus (not thebiggest fan of them but they were ok) and creamy mash potatoes that did not disappoint. The service did take a bit longer thanusual and i understand everywhere is short staffed but we were also the ONLY table inside for at least 30 minutes and thingsstill kinda went slow. Read more
