Wife and I had an absolutely outstanding lunch here today. First time visiting. I got the 12oz ribeye from the grill, rare, with... truffle butter and crispy cauliflower as a side. Wife got the rooster chicken burger. We both loved the food and drinks.Absolutely amazing, will definitely be returning and definitely recommend 100%. October 2021 What a cozy, inviting place to grab a bite. Very open and bright inside with a modern farmhouse kitchen appeal.... Nice menu of soups, sandwiches, and salads, and a decent drink menu covering beer, wine, and mixed drinks. The roast beef waswonderful on a Kaiser roll with onion straws, cheddar, and horseradish sauce. The potato soup was delicious, very creamy andfull of flavor. Came here for lunch takeout and it was good! My husband got The Rooster (spicy chicken sandwich) and I got The Hen (grilled... chicken bacon sandwich) and we got a basket of fries to split. We both liked our sandwiches (fries were okay too) and I woulddefinitely want to try the burger the next time we go back and also dine in to get the full experience. Read more
The service was great. Staff were very kind and friendly. We took our kids along and sat at a comfy corner table with a bench... and pillows. The atmosphere was very cozy and calm. The food was excellent. Very fresh. I had the rooster and my son had aburger. Both the beef and chicken were fresh and tender. We loved it so much, we went to the market nearby to purchase a few oftheir meats to take home. No complaints from me, however I do wish they had one of those cool long sleeve tees in my size. Very nice little place off the beaten path in Lititz PA. Indoor and outdoor sitting. Great service. I had local beets with... fennel salad and added 4 ounces steak. Loved it! Maybe should ask for a little bit of olive oil on the top. My husband has their?famous pork and bacon ? burger?. It was okay. Bar with lots of beer and drinks.
