Best ice cream I've ever had! (And I've tried several!) I had never tried Handel's until the Little Elm location opened. Every... time we have been, the employees are so kind and attentive. Knowledgeable as well! I've never had even one of them not know aflavor I've asked about! Favorites right now are Blueberry Cobbler, Salty Caramel Truffle and Monkey Business. My family loved our ice cream! Bonus we came on a Tuesday between 3-6pm for $2 ice cream. I would have taken pictures of the... ice cream but it was so good we ate them immediately. So yummy! The staff is great, everyone has a smile on their face when you walk through the door. Rarely any long waits, they get... you in and out. I love the carmel shakes and chocolate chip cookie dough sundae. The store is clean and uncluttered, so there isenough room to social distance for customers and employees. I usually go to the Plano location which is excellent. This Little Elm one is on par in terms of quality and service. BUT - no... drive through! (There is one around the corner but it's for the adjacent chicken restaurant.) If it's your first time at aHandel's, you're in for a treat! The flavors are delicious and made fresh. Went last night for the first time. Very stops when you walk in, no crowding while deciding what you want to order. Lots of... pictures of some of the different flavors they offer, cone and cup sizes right up front so you know what you are getting whenyou order, although my daughter ordered a chip with two scoops and it was very tiny. She looked disappointed at first. I?m surewe could have asked them for more scoops if I thought she really wanted more. She got the Fourth of July special, she said shedidn?t taste the pop rocks. But she liked it. I got the banana cream pie in a sugar cone. It really tasted like the pie. It evenhad chunks of bananas in it. It had three scoops which was just enough for me. I was able to eat it before it started meltingdown the cone and making a giant mess. My husband got strawberry in a waffle cone. He said it was very flavorful but didn?t haveany chunks of strawberry in it. They had benches but only two tables. It worked really well. When we arrived there was anemployee outside cleaning the benches with a spray and I noticed they had a water bowl for doggies. Can?t wait to go again. Read more
