Hula Hut is a great spot in Little Elm. Located right off of the lake, it has a great patio with hatch covered umbrellas to take... in a nice day. The interior of the restaurant is colorful and on the Hawaiian tiki Hut vibe. The original Hula Hut is locatedin Austin on the lake as well and have a similar feel. The last five or six times that I have been here it has been relativelyuncrowded. Today I stopped by for a late lunch and sat at the bar and had a chopped salad. I subbed the jalapeno ranch for thevinaigrette it was offered with. Tasty. The bartender was friendly and had good follow up. ??? Read more

The food was good service is usually good except for this past Sunday evening. The grilled salmon dinner was very good, wife... enjoyed the Hawaiian fajitas with sliced pineapples. Their chips are very good served with very mild salsa. Read more

I give it two stars for location atmosphere. Being right on the lake this place could be a GEM ! But alas - it is not ! The... bartender brought me chips and salsa - the salsa was watery finely diced tomatoes and onions. It was free - no big deal. I chosethe GRILLED FRESH SALMON ! It was anything but FRESH ! RUBBERY. The rice it sat on was old, dry, and flavorless ????. I gotfries as one of my choices and when I asked for a bottle of ketchup she brought me packets ????I DON’T DO PACKETS ! One of theother choices was Caesar salad which I think should come out before the meal but it came with the meal and it was a dinner salad! This place needs a new MANAGER cause like I said this place COULD be great - BUT - it’s NOT ! ! ! Read more

Probably the most picturesque place to eat tacos in North Texas. Excellent fusion style food; my personal favorite are the Thai... BBQ fajitas which arrive sizzling on a cast iron griddle in a waft of aromatic smoke. Just the right side of spicy accompaniedby delicious melt in your mouth home made steaming fresh tortillas. The best seats are overlooking the lake with the minivolcano and animatronic shark!!!! Read more

We got one of the platters that feed four and two fried shrimp baskets for the kids. Both were delicious. The kids tore their... baskets up! Afterwards we walked outside and took some pics. Only reason we gave 4 stars is because it did take awhile for thewaitress to come take our order and we had to remind her three time to bring my Dr Pepper. Other than that we will be backagain. We will be back when the weather gets cooler so we can sit outside and view the volcano. Read more

So, atmosphere wise this is a very cute place (although sun faded and worn). The kiddos didn’t seem to mind. Out front there... are many photo ops (sun worn but cute) and out back there is a (non-working) volcano (the BIG freeze took it out apparently) anda pretty cool shark in the water. The food was meh for the price and our personal experience with service received was not good. All of those things brought it to a three star overall for us. Really hoped for more than what we got because from the road wewere super excited to go to such a themed decked out place. Maybe we will give it another go in the future! Read more

This place has some big menu items and they were delicious. Super family friendly atmosphere and the staff was attentive though... it was very busy. Food took a bit but the wait wasn't too bad considering the place was packed. Lots to see outside to keep youoccupied. Read more

Sandwiches were great. French fries were cold, not fit to eat and the bartenders response was "We know we are working on it.... They are cold because they are thin." Needless to say service was sub par and we don't plan on returning. It's a shame becausethe setting is really fun. Read more
