Whenever I am out and about I try to check new breweries of my list. During a recent trip up north I stopped by Starry Eyed and... it was one of those spots that was good but didn?t wow me. Don?t get me wrong, if you are visiting outstate Minnesota or livenearby it is a decent option but I wouldn?t go out of my way for another visit. They had a decent variety of beers and most weredecent enough but there was nothing from my flight that I?d write home about. The brewery was a little stark inside but I didlike the touch of stuffed grain bags on the ceiling to dampen sound and add a little character. It did seem like it would be agreat spot in the summer as they had a decent patio space with a nice atmosphere. It felt like a place that I could bring a takeout pizza and hang out with a group of friends. Read more

I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place pretty relaxed on sat. Afternoon. Love that it was dog friendly even got offered water for... my dog. We did a tasting of a couple beers lots of good options and really tasty. The owner was very nice and friendly makinggood conversation at the bar. The only thing I was looking for was something to explain really what any of the beers werewithout having to ask since there was so many options. Read more

About 4.4 - very good place overall. One really cool thing is the variety. Full range of styles, Sours, Lagers, Stouts, IPAs and... more. We only had beer, apparently the pizza is pretty good. Worth a visit for sure if you are nearby. Read more

The place is in a rural area. Neat that they have tons of hop vines growing outside. The seating is picnic tables inside or... out. The ones outside each have umbrellas if you need them. The beers are $6.00 each. NOW - paid for 2 beers =$12.00. Gavethe bartender my card. Bartender is in the pics. She came back with it, left it and walked away. I thought that was odd. Butthen walked to the tip jar and left cash. Saw on my phone that my card was run with EXTRA! She gave herself a 25% tip!! Ibrought my phone up showing the amount - that just happened a few min earlier. She said she doesn't remember running my card. I said she did. I told her I tipped in cash as well. She said she didn't take cash from me. And yes, she didn't. Since shewalked away, I walked the tip to the tip jar myself. She looked it up and said that 25% was tipped - !!! She offered to openthe till and give me the change, I accepted. TIPPING YOURSELF IS WRONG AND IS STEALING - it wasn't even close of day. It's1:21pm right now. I won't be back and suggest you check what's charged to anyone that pays with a credit card here. Read more

A HUGE selection of beers, seltzers and ciders (40+!) with a giant outdoor area with plenty of seating and a really cool,... dog-friendly taproom. The orange cider was so good, as was everything else we tried! Read more

Wish I could have stayed here a lot longer. Kind of in the middle of nowhere, but a really cool brewery with hops grown on... site. Large outdoor area available and ample indoor seating as well. Cool design of the ceiling using old malt bags. I triedtheir Blonde and the Stray Double IPA - both were excellent. Well worth a drive! Read more
