Rare is a special treat or hidden gem in Little Falls. For those who love beef and steak, you must eat here. The staff, portions... and overall ambience is lovely. Rare is high quality and for those who want to experience a nice night out. Keep in mind theprices for the steak may make your eyes pop out, but then again it's steak so on average their entrees are over $50, but withthe steak entree you did get vegetables. The Brussels Sprouts with bacon side is tasty and the desserts are mouth watering. Oneof the best steak entrees is the skirt steak one. The Filet Mignon didn't wow me like I was expecting but it is a nice cut and agood portion to bring home. There are many other options to choose from for those who are not steak eaters. The pasta is alsotasty and plentiful. Also their wine list has a nice variety. Rare is a gem in a town such as Little Falls, and should pleaseanyone who dines there. Read more
One of my favorite places to eat as it's always delicious and the service is impeccable! Your empty martini glass won’t stay... on the table for more than 30 seconds, that’s how attentive the staff is! Friendly, knowledgeable, make you feel right athome! Bleu cheese stuffed olives for my martinis were so good, definitely hand stuffed! The food is just unbelievably delicious!Yes it’s pricey, but you get what you pay for! I heard many good things about Rare from both social media and trusted friends. It was a pleasant surprise that this restaurant... definitely lived up to it's well earned reputation. Each selection was delicious and a nice portion as our table was filled withvery big men. I took forward to going again and trying some other choices from the menu. Read more

My husband took me there for our 69th monthsary. We did the full fine dining experience - valet, wine, appetizers, steak for two... & dessert. Valet was quick. Wine selection ok. Tuna tartare was yummy! Steak was good (not great but good). Ambience was nicebut was a little too loud for fine dining. Servers not very good. The take home packaging was embarassing. Overall, it wassatisfactory. Although it has to be said that if i were to spend that much next time, i would stick to Houston's, Ruth's Chrisor River Palm Terrace. Read more
Excellent food, drink and service. Great presentation of cuts of beef before ordering. Very nice menu with something for... everyone options. The 48oz porterhouse was perfectly prepared and very tender. The lobster tails were good and flavorful. Great dessert menu. Very attentive service and a nice quiet but not stuffy environment. We celebrated our anniversary here and were pleased with everything we had. We ordered the Swedish meatball appetizers and they... were delicious. The pasta dishes are amazing. Very simple but perfectly executed. We shared the carrot cake and it was theperfect ending to a great meal. Read more
