Stopped by chance at a small town called Little Falls, New York, off I-90 between Albany & Syracuse and was pleasantly... surprised. Stayed at the Inn & enjoyed an amazing dinner prepared by Executive Chef John Luciano. You won?t be disappointed. Iordered the surf and turf which was a difficult decision because I would have been delighted to try any one of the wonderfulsounding entrees. Exquisite presentation and attentively prepared. I recommend you stop into this charming little town and beprepared to be awed by the scenery, friendly hotel staff, and remarkable culinary experience. Read more
What an unexpected gem! The meal was magnificent - and not only for delighting in Chef John?s personal attention to the guests -... it was beautifully imagined and exceptionally crafted plates. Delicious! We started off with a calamari appetizer. Light, crispy, divine. For our entrees, we had the seafood specials -... pricey, but worth every penny. The presentation was stunning, and each forkful melted in our mouths. We ended our meal withcheesecake for dessert. I usually find cheesecake too heavy - however, this one was made with mascarpone cheese. Amazingly lightand tasty. The executive chef introduced himself to each table and was very attentive. What a great birthday dinner our party of four enjoyed at the Canal Side Inn! The excellent service, exceptional food and... classic atmosphere all combined to give us a memorable dining experience. We so appreciated the personal touches, as the chefand wait staff made such an effort to make our small party feel special. Highly recommend, and so glad the Mohawk Valley has somuch to offer. My second meal by the amazing Chef John was the beef bourguignon! It was sooo delicious! Flavors were just perfect. Then we... couldn?t decide on a dessert?? so we ordered one of each!
