This quaint little breakfast/lunch spot has the most beautiful view of Main Street, and is across the street from an adorable... alpaca-wool product shop for walking-to-expedite-digesting of their delicious food! I had the shaved steak sandwich w bananapeppers, grilled onions, and melted provolone (and perfectly salted fries) - probably my favorite Little Falls lunch of all time(absolutely too good for me to snap a picture as I scarfed it down too quickly). Our kids had the crispy chicken tenders andgrilled cheese - both looked so good, I wanted a bite for myself! We did an order pick-up, but instantly regretted it when wewalked in to this cozy, family-operated diner that stepped out of the 1950s but updated its menu for sophisticated tastes.Kudos, TLPoM! Beautiful space with really tasty and freshly-made foods. My onion rings were still hot out the fryer and had an amazing crisp... to it, so addictive. The butter pecan ice cream was a bit of a letdown though as it tasted rather watered down and not flavorfulor sweet enough. Note that the booths can only reasonably seat up to 4 people. The owners and employees are sweethearts, veryaccomodating. We were 1.5 days into biking the Empire State Trail and they gave us free ice and water to refill our hydrationbladders. I loved, loved, loved this cozy little place. We were visiting from downstate and headed home on a Monday when we came into town... right at breakfast to lunch time and I spotted "biscuits and gravy" on the chalk daily board out front. I squeaked by on timeand got some very good biscuits and gravy reminiscent of what I might find back home in the deep south. Delicious. I tried mywife's homemade corned beef hash and it was excellent too. AND they accommodated letting us have our dog, a mini-schnauzer withus outside on their deck---which is not nearly as common upstate as it is down in NYC. Read more
