I dined here 2 years ago and decided to give them another go. Overall it's just passable Chinese grub. The broccoli beef was a... bit salty but the other dishes were ok. It's not a big buffet so there's not a lot of different dishes but for me it was enough.Probably 5th place for LR Chinese buffets. Read more
Just got delivery. Was a little apprehensive based on some of the poor reviews. Did not disappoint. First thing I noticed is... that portions were double what you?d get at other places. Hunan beef was full of fresh, perfectly cooked veggies and big slicesof beef. General Tso?s was good and sweet and sour chicken wasn?t overly breaded and greasy like other places. Son got Szechuanshrimp. A bit sweet for my taste, but that?s on me, not them. Great value and will be our go-to place from now on (pleaseconsider adding ma po tofu to the menu!). Read more
I always order my food Togo fresh. Tried to over price me. Once I called them out, she tried to explain and then mentioned a... free egg roll for the computer mistake. I've been going to this establishment for many years. When I was working on geyer springs I literally got their buffet to go... daily! Back then it was wonderful. Past recent years I can't patron this restaurant as frequently because the distance is toofar. But I do manage to go once every month. The quality of food is there is no quality! It's obvious what wasn't consumed oneday on the buffet was recycled and not just recycled it was so old and so tough it was not edible. What's really funny I don'tusually complain but lunch buffet is really pricy and if I'm unable to eat the old as dirt food then yes I will call to say Iwas disappointed. It's hysterical there is an immediate language barrier when you have a complaint. I'm sure hung up on"accidentally" of course but called back and was severely frustrated when lady on the phone seemed to not understand me and Idefinitely didn't understand a word she said. It was completely obvious she didn't care at all! I was informed that no onecomplained about the food yesterday except me of course.... funny I understand that sentence perfectly. Lol Give me a break!! Ifyou run a business you are not going to please everyone but one little ole person that would be me. Jokes on you I will bring myreceipt and demand a refund will not bring the to go container that's in the bottom of my garbage can! Doesn't make sense and Ican't be silenced because you're acting like you don't know what I say. See ya soon! I did offer to actually bring the containeras well as the old food that was not eaten! I eat too much of the buffet. I've lived near the buffet for 7mo. Considered it a blessing! Was $12 to begin with. Then $14. ... The days ago I went in... ate, went to pay & $18! Wwe no make no money...$18 the owner says! I pay. Tonight I walk in and wasgreated by the waitress & I asked how much for the buffet? She answered $12 dollars and seated me. I made a plate of food andasked 4 the receipt and she handed me a receipt for $12. The owner saw me and went to talk to the waitress to explain to herthat I was not the ordinary customer. She explained that I had already asked for the recipe & she had already given me thereceipt as I waved it at him as she explained. The owner walked over to me and told me the buffet was $18 for me. I protestedthat it's an all you can eat buffet for $12 not $18 cause you eat so much and take so long. I was asked to leave and never comeback because I ate too much of their ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET....? Take your apatite and make sure how much your paying b4 yousit down to eat. We came to this town for a college basketball game, wanted Chinese food, stopped here. It's an older looking small building. It... doesn't look like it is kept up well. Friendly and helpful staff. I don't like giving bad reviews, but we will not be back. Thefood wasn't what we expected and the bathroom/hallway smells like sewer. Read more
