Never had a bad experience at Kobe, food is always delicious and prepared the way I order it! I usually order to go and when... they give me a time it will be ready, it's ready! Everything was wonderful! However having to sit and wait at a grill table for over 30 mins to try and fill the seats is a little... on the crazy side, we made reservations and didn't expect to wait 30 more mins. After we asked if they were ever going to cometo our grill or we would leave they finally sent someone over. The prices were fair for what you recieved, left on a full stomach, but I was slightly underwhelmed by the usual experience of a... cheering and laughing shop. Chef was good and service was fast and friendly. I'm still giving 5 stars because it was good albeit unexpected. Fried rice was... cooked with a hot mustard sauce on it. I don't care for that flavor but it may just be regular for this chain. The ginger saucewas very different than what I'm used to. It tasted like mostly onion and sugar. Service was great! Our chef was even greater (personalitywise). I was disappointed that this location did not include the appetizer shrimp or the noodles?huge bummer! Our chef put onthe best show?food not so much. The fried rice was crispy in areas (good flavor though). The vegetables were overcooked inareas. We requested our steak medium, but it was past well done once it hit our plate. It took too much effort to chew it. Theshrimp lacked flavor and was a bit small in my opinion.
