Pretty fresh sushi usually. Sort of my go to when Yumi is closed or I don?t feel like spending a million dollars. They also have... a great lunch special. This has been our favorite Japanese place for many years. Fish is so fresh, and the food is guaranteed to come out delicious,... and so very flavorful. This is a small, family owned business and we really appreciate them staying open for take out duringthe pandemic.When placing an order for pick up, I would just give them my number and ask them to call me when the food wasready. As an employer myself, I realize the great challenges small businesses have been facing with the labor force over thelast couple of years, especially the restaurants. Good food and nice people, but the communication between customers and staff is lacking. Order delivery times continue to be... pushed back and often canceled after long wait times. We?ve placed food delivery orders each of the past two Friday evenings -we?ve waited each night for two hours, only to have the orders canceled by Kissui each time. I won?t order from Kissui againuntil the owners make the required investment in staff. Read more

Not your average sushi place. The fish is very fresh and you can tell just from looking at it. Even better when you take a... bite. Great value. Loved the sushi lunch special - the miso soup is also excellent. As an NYC native, I?d say Kissui goes toeto toe with many great places I?ve eaten at. GF and I are both foodies and she is an absolute sushi fiend with very discerningstandards. The fact that she was impressed tells me they are doing something right. Read more
