We have been ordering here for years. We have suggested Zaika to friends over and over again. Today we ordered our usual items... and everything tasted off. We ordered the kofta Keshari, kale aur baingan, Aaloo Gobi, vegetable korma and naan. Our kids didnot eat it and this is their favorite restaurant. I called in to see if there is a new chef, recipe or what happened? I spoke toa very rude woman who told me to pack up the items and drive back so they can assess. Since no one touched this dinner I am nowfixing dinner for our kids and am not able to drive back another 20 min there and back. I asked if I can come by tomorrow andwas told that will not longer be acceptable. Very frustrating. We “know” this food and have enjoyed it every time and feellike the customer service was unacceptable. It’s unfortunate that We won’t be going back. Read more

OMGOSH, we came here out of convenience and didn't know what to expect. We were blown away with the savory ingredients and... excellent customer service. The food was so good that we dive right in and I forgot to take pics of our dishes. We're definitelycoming back soon. Read more

The way this place does business is shady… I called yesterday evening to place a pickup order. After I communicated my order... with the guy, he asked if I wanted to add gratuity, I told him I’d do that once I got there, as my husband was planning to paycash upon pickup. He told me that I had to pay over the phone. I gave him my card details and he told me to come pick up in 20minutes. My husband planned to tip the usual 5-10% for a pick up order, but I checked my bank statement first, and they chargedme 20% gratuity… for a pick up order. 20% is for the service you received when dining at a restaurant or for the driver whodelivers your order. It is certainly not to place an order and pick it up yourself. It’s not an acceptable way to do business,to tell a customer their total, then charge them 20% on top of it with absolutely no consent to do so. Their food was fine. Butif this is what their business model is, it’s honestly super shady. 2 stars because their food was fine Read more

Went on Valentines Day and the place was packed. The server greeted us and told that we will be seated as soon as the table is... cleaned (the table was empty and just needed cleaning). It took them a lot of time to get us seated (cos the same person wasrefilling waters on all the tables before coming and cleaning the empty tables). Finally were seated and then waited for another10 mins before the same person came to take the order( given staff shortage everywhere , we can understand but they had the samefolks before COVID also). Ordered the appetizers and main course at the same time ( they have 3 veg options in appetizers -gobhi , samosa and momos- ordered all and veg karahai, butter naan, garlic naan and veg biryani). The server suggested the spicelevel and went with level 4 as the server said that’s the spice level for Indian Spicy. Got the food quickly and didn’t hadto wait much. Appetizers were all great ( 5 stars to appetizers with momos being the best) but when it comes to main course, looks like when asking for spice level 4 , all the chef did was add salt and pepper in the gravy and biryani and not exactlymake it spicy. Adding salt and pepper does not make food spicy but it makes it salty and hot. Clearly the chef knows aboutNepali food but not familiar with Indian spices. Garlic naan had no garlic in it but tasted like butter naan but have to saythey were fresh and soft and cooked perfectly. Overall ok experience, they can be great if they can make their gravy and rice astasty as their appetizers. Read more

Ambience of the restaurant is nice and its quite clean & spacious. Decent enough space between tables. For starters we ordered... vegetable momos & samosas. Both the starters were excellent. I really enjoyed the samosa. Both the chutneys with samosas werereally authentic n full of flavor. The rating would have been 5 if it was solely based upon starters. For the mains, we orderedveg biryani and veg krahi with naans. Veg Krahi was average, naans were really good, so soft and fluffy. I was disappointed inveg biryani. It wasn’t flavorful at all. We didnt expect much of this place since we have known alot of our indian friends around the area and nobody has really spoken... about this place before. We were actually pleasantly surprised by the food, taste and quality here. Momos were great (but theyhad green chutney instead of North indian spicy red Chutney), but paneer tikka was awesome and so were the naan. They were wellcooked, unlike the most restaurants that give raw rubbery naans. Food was upto the mark and actually tasted alot closer toAuthentic north indian food and much better than more famous Indian restaurants in the area. Read more
