I don?t know if they have a new manager or what. The food was very bland this time except the fried shrimp. The fish was... flavorless and dry. The oysters were tiny and greasy. The stuffed shrimp was a good size but flavorless and cold. My wife didenjoy her hamburger. The drink station counter was filthy as well as the bathroom. Wish I had taken a picture of the drinkstation. We used to really like this place but probably won?t be going back with the higher prices and lower quality food. Stopped in on a Friday night for my first visit. The staff was nice. The food was ok. The restaurant was a bit dirty including... the bathrooms. I ordered the stuffed shrimp and my husband had the diablo shrimp burger. I don?t think we?ll return. It?s morelike a glorified Long John Silvers. Read more
We really enjoyed the food. Baked and fried whitefish, grilled and fried shrimp and Diablo crab cakes. Green beans, red... potatoes, okra, french fries all good. They serve beer and wine. When we're in SA we will definitely come back! Read more
It took me a long time to visit this place, despite it being so close to my house because seafood is not really my thing. I was... actually pleasantly surprised by it. The first surprise was that it was counter service. Based on the size and look of theplace, I always thought it was going to be a sit-down restaurant. The food was better than I expected, too. It more closelyresembled a higher-quality Long John Silver's than a Joe's Crab Shack. They also had outdoor seating, which was nice, althoughthe patio door was locked from the outside, requiring you to walk around the building to get back indoors. My dad got theShrimp Diablo Burger without realizing it was supposed to be spicy. It wasn't too hot for him. The side of Southern Green Beanswas too hot for my mom, however. Be warned. The food was all decent, but not spectacular. It also took FOREVER for our food tocome. I wouldn't be averse to going back, but am in no hurry to do so. Read more
First and last visit. Someone posted about this delicious lobster roll on Sunday, so I had to come give it a try on Monday. Very... disappointed. Looks beautiful, but taste wasn?t where it needed to be. Got the lobster bisque, Against my better judgement Idecided to take a few spoonfuls to make sure I wasn?t tripping. It had a curdled and gritty texture. I was able to send it backwithout any issues. Spent the following afternoon praising the porcelain god. I also learned another very valuable lesson. Ifthey make you pay upfront for your food beware. I?m still waiting on the refund for the spoiled lobster bisque. Read more
