Always always, always excellent. I enjoy this place every time. While every chef inspired dish meets my criteria for culinary... happiness, Cappione may not appeal to all. 1) not a place for kids menu and venue wise. 2) Modest Menu by American standards butfilled with diversity and delight. 3) Savory focused, nothing fried or box made.4) smaller tables and chairs. . Polar oppositeof the rib n chop, which I enjoy at times as well. Enjoy Read more

Had dinner here one night during our visit to Montana. Staff was super friendly and the food was delicious! We started with the... crispy brussel sprouts then I had the manicotti and my boyfriend had the lamb ragu. We ended our night with the olive oil cakeand affogato. Definitely make a reservation to stop by and enjoying this amazing place. Read more

Great dinner and excellent service. I had the house pasta and Cyd had locally sourced lamb Ragu. Homemade fresh pasta really... made our meals extra special. The bistro atmosphere and being in the heart of downtown Livingston, Montana a great draw aswell Very happy with this wonderful restaurant Read more

Inventive yet classic, the 3 meals I had at Campione in a 24 hr period- dinner, brunch, dinner bc it was That good- were... delicious (every single bite), graciously portioned (all the pastas) and diverse (duck confit with pickled mushrooms!). I alsoappreciated the creative use of celery! The staff are a delight and the space tastefully renovated. Embracing the historicalstorefront and character of the space with a nod to mid century Italian excellence, it feels authentic and inviting and elevatedall at once. Do not miss dessert- even when you think you’ve eaten so much Vitellius would be proud, the pistachio and rosewater gelato is so good it somehow reignites your appetite! Not only would the gladiators have enjoyed a Campione meal, I amcertain Julius Caesar, Boromini, And Michaelangelo would give it 5 stars, as do I! Read more

Came here for dinner one of the nights of our honeymoon. It was cozy and delicious. Some of the best vegetarian dishes I've ever... had. We started with the Brussels sprouts and winter squash. The eggplant entree was inspired. And the budino for dessert wasperfectly rich and decadent. Read more

Where is a Michelin star rating when you need one? This is truly a beautiful fine dining experience with wonderful hospitality.... Every menu item is created from scratch, and the ambiance is pure gold. This is one of my favorite restaurants that I have everbeen to, even stacked against those with a Michelin star ? ?? Also, very affordable. I have been multiple times now, and cansay with confidence that anything you order will knock your socks off. Read more

My wife and I were on a trip through Montana and stop by Livingston. I honestly stopped because of the expresso cup noises which... reminded me of home (France), and the building is a piece of art. We were expecting a basic Italian place, but you can take itup two levels. The quality of the raw products that are used are very high, the tastes and savors are very subtle and wellbalanced. All this while keeping it very affordable, which participates in bringing the right mix of people to make such placesso great. Our server was very nice and the music in the background completed the whole thing. Great place that deserves to beknown by more than the locals. We wish you to be successful and keep the spirit. You made something unique. Read more
