When I review a restaurant I look at 4 important things that make for a great restaurant experience: Service, Cleanliness, Food... and Space. This restaurant did very well on each. 1) The service was impeccable. The waiter was very attentive and the staffwas very friendly. 2) Many restaurants need to really come and just see how clean this restaurant is. Although, I will suggestthat they do need to ensure that staff is going into the bathroom every 1/2 hour to maintain it. However, even with the amountof people using the bathroom it was kept very clean. The restaurant itself was extremely clean. 3) Food was spectacular. I loveportuguese food and this restaurant made me feel as if I was in Portugal. The food was executed as it is done in Portugal????????. The salsa verde was incredible and the steak was amazing. 4) I cannot stress the importance of space between tables.There is nothing worse than to have dinner and having another table a sneeze away. This restaurant understands what space isand how its important to give your patrons space for privacy. AWFUL and HORRIBLE!! My husband and I tried this place for the first time. Ordered the octopus appetizer which was TERRIBLE.... Octopus was not fresh and very chewy with no flavor. Tasted like it came out of a can. Then came the entrees. My skirt steakwas mediocre. My husband ordered the T-bone medium rare. It came out beyond well done. We kindly asked for a few one. Waitertook it back with no apologies. I ate dinner…alone, while my husband waited for a new steak. They finally brought it out andit was RAW. He tried to eat it but couldn’t. Kindly showed the waiter whose response was “you need me to take it backagain?” …with an EYE ROLL, as if we were the ones who did something wrong. Brought it out a third time which was edible.Mind you, the owner and manager were both aware of what was happening AND neither of them ever bothered to come over to us andapologize for the negative dining experience we were encountering. An apology goes a long way, when it comes to your payingcustomers but they simply did not care. The waiter was plan rude and never checked on us. Just TERRIBLE. I ordered a T-Bone medium rare. It comes out medium well. The server (Dennis) takes it back (no apology). My wife... is forced to eat her meal alone until I get a new steak. It comes back and now it’s raw. Again sent back with no apologies.The owner is made aware and so is the manager. Neither comes up to acknowledge the situation. Why have an owner and mangerpresent if no one will take ownership and manage a situation? I’m not here for free items. But even the gesture for a desert(at the LEAST) would’ve gone a long way. I guess it was my fault to expect a steakhouse to know how to cook a steak mediumrare. A horrible meal. Horrible experience. Mistakes with food happen. I was in the restaurant industry for 10 years and it’sto be expected. But how you manage that situation to your PAYING CUSTOMERS speaks volumes of your establishment. A group of us went out to celebrate a birthday and Assado's outdoor seating option was appealing and turned out to be a... wonderful space to dine in. Food was very good for the most part but there were a few misses. For appetizers we shared thegrilled sausage, shrimp in garlic and the fried calamari. The first two were delicious but the calamari was overcooked andchewy. For entrees most ordered from the variety of steaks, all were excellent. Some of had the various seafood options, againall good with the exception of the paella. The lobster was overcooked and also the clams. The rice and the rest of the seafoodwas good. Desserts were awesome. The mango sorbet was the hit, as was the tiramisu and cheesecake. Service was friendly andefficient. We will be going back. Read more

Tonight my husband and I went there with our 8 weeks old daughter to have our first night out. 2 appetizers we ordered were... ok.BUT paella with lobster ???? on top was definitely bad.We kindly asked the waiter to change it,they said that the lobsterjust overcooked,but we both felt bitter taste,in a little bit they brought us cold platter with our dish that we had before withanother lobster that tasted funny. We have asked for a chief to talk,but instead the owner of the restaurant came out and he wassimply rude. When we asked for a check we were ignored and declined. Came home very sick. Absolutely unacceptablebehavior!!! Terrible experience ???? Will not recommend it to anyone. Read more
