I've been here twice now while visiting from CO and both times I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The environment is fun with... fishing boats, nets and stained glass windows. The catfish both fried and blackened was delicious. Our server Jeanine C made iteven better with her outstanding service! And as a plus they have wooden crosses outside that are free for the taking! Grilled Chicken PoBoy is amazing!! Mac & Cheese or Potatoes are a great option for the side. I have a recommendation/request:... Can y'all PLEASE add Fried Okra to the menu? I feel like y'all should definitely have that. Also, we usually opt to order foodto-go because the restaurant is too warm for us to dine-in and enjoy our food. Not sure if A/C is broken or thermostat is settoo high. Service could be better. Staff is friendly enough, but they don't go above and beyond to create a great experience andusually forget to bring requested items to the table when dining in and forget silverware when ordering to-go. We stumbled upon Shrimp Boat Manny's as we pulled into town, looking for lunch. Glad we did. Fast friendly service and everyone... in our party of nine was happy with their food. For seafood, it's not expensive and worth give them a try. We hope to be backsome day. Read more

Our first visit recently. The food was bland and the Mac and cheese looked not so good at all. So I sent back for the fries,... which was way better!!!! Honestly they need to figure out a better recipe for the Mac and cheese and dirty rice. Also we gotgood customer service. They greeted us as we walked in and as we left. I have had plenty of fried seafood to know when I haveran into good seafood and I must say I left not satisfied. Quality and presentation is everything. Also my fried shrimp wasn?thot at all. My husband eat burgers all the time, an he did not really care much for this one as well. This is not to bash thisnice restaurant. We love Shrimp Boat Manny's and try to stop in whenever we are in town. Unfortunately, when we stopped in for lunch the food... was not up to their normal incredible level. We had the Red Beans and Rice with Sausage and the Fried Shrimp. The shrimp werecooked to the right temperature but they tasted like the oil they were fried in was old and needed to be changed.
