I am consistently impressed with the service, food, drinks & overall vibe of this Bar Louis. Anchored at a mall I?m always... pleasantly surprised by how well attended it is and typically full of friendly faces! The food is good (chicken nachosrecommend) the drinks are really good. The service is just fantastic. Last night we had a beautiful sweet girl taking care ofour table and she did great. Nonetheless the manager? stopped at our table a couple times just to make sure we had everythingwe needed. I will make it a point to visit here more frequently. Great happy hour specials too!! Waited well over an hour for a carryout of one burger and fries. Arrived at the time they told me and sat and waited for 10... minutes before the bartender asked the kitchen for an update on my order. She said it'd be a few minutes longer. 30+ minuteslater my food finally came out. I'm not sure if they forgot to make my order or what but it blew my mind that I was waiting thatlong on a slow Wednesday night. The situation was only made worse by the lack of an apology or any show of care in the world byany of the employees there. I understand mistakes happen but when they do, own up to it and be honest with your customers.You'll save a lot of face that way. I never went to Bar Louie much anyway but after today I can guarantee I'll never waste asecond of my time or cent of my money here again. Read more
Came in on Thursday night and initially had to wait for a server to come over. Once Meghann took over our table everything was... great. Our drinks were never empty and and she was very sweet. We had a great night and would come back again! Read more

Stopped in on a Friday night as it?s next to the hotel where we are staying. Party of 7 ordered drinks and dinner. Went for... second beer (Modelo) but was told it ran out. Strike 1. Brought out our food but had to hunt down server to get silverware.Strike 2. But the third strike? A clear out. Asked for ketchup and was told ?we?re out? so I asked to see a manager. When theguy came over I said how can you be out of ketchup on a Friday night when all your food has fries? His reply: I dunno, theydidn?t deliver it. I pointed out there is a Kroger literally less than a mile away to which he said ?not my fault, you can callthe food service company?. I said I?d rather call his boss and see if that person thinks it?s his responsibility or not. Herepeated it wasn?t his problem, shrugged and left. Never, in any industry, have I seen a manager so willing to argue with me.All he had to say was ?yeah, we just realized we?re out and I sent someone to get some. I?ll get it to you if he?s back whileyou?re still eating. I?m sorry?. Told our server before we left she should look for a better job with a boss that knows whathe?s doing before the place closes due to incompetence. Having had experience working as a host, server, and bartender in a chain food service restaurant I understand things can... happen, yet the experience we had was no excuse. We came in yesterday, July 10th at about 7pm, and was greeted by the bartenderfrom the bar who advised us we can sit in the bar or in the front section (which was not cleaned). We sat in the front becausewe had a 12 year old and a 1 year old. It took 10 minutes to be greeted by a server who we asked for a high chair. 7 minuteslater is when it was received (now 17 minutes into the visit). She brought us our water at the same time as well and began totake an order. The restaurant was not busy with only 4 tables in the front section and 2 outside; and 1 high top and 1 long with6 at the bar. I ordered a double scotch and we ordered our food with some modifications due to food allergies. It took over 40minutes for the bartender to pour a double and then when our food came 20 minutes after (now making our visit 1 hour 13 minute)it was not adjusted. Mine had to be sent back and I did not ask for it to be replaced. My wife?s had nothing removed from it,only the items she had added were put in. Our 1 year olds chicken was rubbery and cool to touch (microwaved, or it sat for awhile). Despite all of this, I asked myself, where was the floor manager? Why wasn?t the manager on duty out helping the staffwho clearly were struggling?! Why did the kitchen staff leave mid shift? Why were the servers so poorly trained when evengetting asked a simple question they had no idea how to answer? How do you run a restaurant this badly? It was truly a shame aswe had been to a few Bar Louie?s and never had such an experience. Needless to say, this left us with such a bad experience wewon?t be going back, but most likely won?t go to any establishment again. Why? I stopped here at 11, because it was right near the movie theater for my 1150 movie. The place was dead, like literally only 3... people there so it was perfect to order chicken wings, then hit the movie. My order was in before 11:10 yet I did not get myfood for about 25 to 30 minutes. I had to try and eat in the car because of the long wait. Read more
