Busy but nice environment
Very good for a hotel restaurant. Food prices are fair, but a la carte so expect a larger bill if you are looking for soup or... salad with an entree. French Onion Soup is a find. It's deep and well seasoned with gooey cheese and croutons. Key Lime Pieis very good it's dense and decadent compared to the fluff others want to serve. Service is friendly and casual. Gander's is a restaurant in the lobby of the Embassy Suites. I ate there a couple of times while staying at the Embassy suites,... when I did not feel like driving out for dinner. The staff was very friendly. That, and the convenience for hotel guests, getsthe 2 stars. The food was just OK - cafeteria type food. Hungry, and late night, it worked for me. Read more
