I have ordered from this restaurant 20+ times in the last year. It is hands down the best Japanese I have ever had. It is... always perfect and the portions are large. I can always recommend the pork katsu, fried rice and spring rolls all Amazing. 5stars is not enough to rate how much I enjoy the food here. Read more

What a fantastic restaurant hiding in an unassuming building. The servers and sushi chefs were very friendly. The food was super... fresh and very authentic. Just ate at this place and feel compelled to leave a review. I'm visiting from out of town. I went out last night and had a... beef bibimbap in downtown Detroit at Traffic Jam & Snug (bar pub place) that was AMAZING. Today I thought of repeating thatsame experience and googled around for Korean/Japanese restaurants, and ran across this place. It had good reviews and it wasfamily owned. Great. I took my aunt there and we ordered two sushi rolls, she ordered a beef bibimbap and I ordered theseafood one. So here's how that went down:. the two rolls we ordered, the Mexican roll and the snow corn roll, were amazing. We got miso soup and salad with our main dish. I asked the sever if it comes with ginger dressing and he said yes. When thesalads came out, they had some sort of gray dressing on them that tasted like homemade Italian (?). So no ginger dressing. Okay. Miso soup was excellent. Our bibimbaps then came out. The seafood one was supposed to be served in a hot stone bowl. Iused to work at a Korean restaurant and never liked the way the stone bowl burns the rice, so asked for it to be served in aregular bowl. Both bibimbaps were lukewarm at best. Everything in the bowl, from the vegetables to the meat/seafood, to therice, which should have really been steaming hot, was lukewarm. The gochujang sauce, which was handed to us in a cold bottle, just made the whole thing colder and less appealing. I looked for our server several times. I wanted to tell him that I wasn'thappy with the meal and that maybe he could throw it in the microwave for us? But he was nowhere to be found. And it's noteven a big place, and it was literally us and one other table that came in about halfway into our meal. Our server never cameto check on our entrees, we needed extra napkins, and it would've been nice to get a hot tea refill. When I finally got up andwent to the counter to ask for tea and he came over, I told him how cold the meal was and he told me it wa Read more

I hadn't had sushi since the pandemic, so I really wanted some and was happy to see this place open. Although they are a little... heavy on the sauces, the rolls were still good. I'll just get the sauces on the side next time. I was able to order through UberEats and pick it up. Read more
