We stopped here and were very happy we did. The owner's are very friendly, you can see, and smell the pasties being made. They... were hot and fresh. We ordered a Shepherd's Pie Pastie and split it just to test things. It was amazingly delicious. We landedup taking six to bring back to Florida with us. The owner's make you laugh, the food is excellent, the pastry delicate, and thefillings actually full of flavor. Besides the main menu they have special pasties you can order ahead of time. I would haveloved to get 6 Cordon Bleu to take home but it would have taken a few days and we unfortunately have to leave town before theywould be ready. Read more

Called to place a pickup and was insulted multiple times by the employee on the phone. They acted like I was supposed to be an... expert on pasties when I?ve never had one before. Sorry I don?t know how to pronounce an obscure regional dish that nobody outof state knows about? Then they berate me about taking too long to order (it took me about 30 seconds to list the 4 pasties Iwanted). As someone who?s worked at a restaurant and call center, this employee needs extensive training on how to take a call.Extremely rude and drove myself and multiple family members away from ever ordering here. I can?t say that I?m impressed. The pasties are ok, I got traditional ones. The flavor seems bland compared to others in the... metro Detroit area. The beef seems to have been in patty form at one point. The staff was very friendly and I?m happy to try alocal business instead of fast food. I don?t know that I would go out of my way to return. I would recommend increasing theproduct quality. I for one would be happy to pay more for better quality and flavor. Read more
