Such a cozy atmosphere, kind staff, and great food. My husband and I just moved to the area and have been here a few times... already. Everything we have ordered has been excellent. It is located in a historical building so there is also a cute littlemuseum next to the restaurant you should check out next time you visit! Read more

I enjoyed the restaurant! The food is excellent overall. The pork chops were outstanding. The service was good. I would... definitely go back. Here is the reason it did not get 5 stars though, 1- Food was good, but the vegetables were not seasoned atall. Everyone at our table noticed that. 2- Our server did not really understand his beer menu. He said I was getting a Germanbeer style, but it was a Fat Mike from Chicago, and it tasted like a Busch lite. 3- Maybe our server was not feeling thegreatest, hope we just caught him on a bad day. But he acted like he would rather watch paint dry than answer our questions onthe menu. So the restaurant get 4 instead of 5 stars. I still recommend it. Hopefully the restaurant sees this critique andmakes the adjustments. Read more

Have eaten here many times in the last 10 years and always had a good meal until this Saturday. The prime rib was tasteless -... like something at Golden Corral. At $44 we expected something much better. The pork schnitzel and spaetzle needed a lot of saltto have any kind of taste. The pot roast and beef stroganoff were the same. It’s like the chef does not know how to seasonanything. I will give the staff 5 stars. Our waitress was excellent. Sadly we won’t go back. Use to be a great place-somethinghas clearly changed. I've been eating here for years, it has undergone multiple changes but the lovely setting remains the same. I was not here... during the entire pandemic so it was great to be back. My friend and I love to meet here. She had the vegetable stir fry and Ihad the chicken tacos. I asked if they were spicy ahead of time, was assured they were not and sure enough, they were not. I ama total wimp when it comes to spice so I was thrilled to be given an honest appraisal of the heat. I've gotten so many bumsteers that I was really delighted with the fabulous variety of tastes and textures. For dessert we both had the peach cobbler. It was outstanding, make sure you get your own. Trust me on this, not a shareable size and once you taste it, you won't wantto. Great service and the patio is magnificent. Read more

Note: I’m speaking only for the valentines day tasting menu. First off everyone was very nice, our server was very attentive.... We went for a dinner for 2 on valentines day, we were sat in like a back room which was way too bright and loud, it was offputting for a romantic valentines day dinner. We started with a seafood cake (basically a crab cake) it was absolutely amazing. Second course was lobster bisque and an arugula salad. Both were also very good. The main courses were very disappointing, Ihad the pork chop, the flavor was good but it was overcooked very dry, same thing with the beans.. scrawny and dried out. Thesweet potatoes were good but a little salt would have gone a long way. My wife got the flounder. The biggest issue is therewere still pin bones in it, this is like rookie move for cooking, you don’t serve fish with pin bones in it period. The fishwas also chalky maybe over floured, all in all not impressed. We had the flourless chocolate cake for dessert, it was very richbut tasty. All in all i may go back and try a burger or sandwich but the dinners id probably pass on. Read more
