My goodness. This is delicious ice cream. We travelled many hours today and needed to take our pup for a walk. We found the lock... port trail which has some unique and interesting history. With great surprise we found Lake Effect ice cream! Holy moly was itdelicious. They have some unique and classic flavors. The doughnut ice cream had chucks of cinnamon flavor doughnut in it. Tryout the sesame ice cream. Very tasty. It is a bit different but really has a toasted sesame flavor to it. Oh and it?s all homemade!!! Read more

I am probably the only one that's really not a fan. They do have awesome ice cream and some very complicated concoctions.... Unfortunately, I'm a very simple one scoop, swirly kind of a person. They told me I could go to Dairy Queen for that. Thequality of the ice cream is great and the people are nice and they move you fast through the lines. So if you want somethingextraordinary and have time to read and understand the complicated menu go for it. It's something different. It's just not forme. Read more

Really great ice cream! Cute little ice cream place by the canal. You can sit inside or outside. Nice flowers outside. Will... definitely go again for ice cream.
