I visited the store in Locust Grove today. I ordered online via the app so the receipt info should be there. First, I checked in... via the confirmation email and the app, but sat there 20 min beyond my pickup time waiting. Had I not called inside, I'dprobably be sitting there. The car hop practically threw my food in the car at me and brought me tea with NO ICE. Really? Thebun on the kiddy burger was far from fresh and it was cold. The peach cobbler was overcooked and extremely dry and the attachedpic is the so called lettuce that was on the burger. It wreaked of salmonella or something. Customer service has become an utterjoke. I can see why the parking lot was empty. I've never been a fan of Shane's food, but with today being Sunday and neither myhusband or I were feeling well, our options were very slim. And I paid over $50 for this sub sub par dinner. Ridiculous! Myhusband's food is still on the counter. I'm afraid to ask him about it. Update: I didn't have to ask. He said "did you orderlemon pepper smoked chicken?" I told him that wasn't an option. I looked at it and tasted it. It was undercooked and looked tobe baked perhaps with "liquid smoke" because it was not the color nor taste of true smoked chicken. I never see smoke coming outof Shane's, and have always been perplexed. Yeah, I'm a bit perturbed about that $50+ meal. Never again! I'll give my rewardpoints to someone else. Read more
Come on now. This is 3rd time trying them. Your ribs were fine. Your chopped chicken and your fixing needs revamped. The Mac n... cheese taste like Kraft box mac. The potato salad was store brought. I ordered the 2 meat plate - Ribs, half chicken, mac'n cheese, and fried okra. Perfect ribs, just the right amount of pull back... and super flavorful. The chicken with juicy and tender every bite. The mac'n cheese was nothing to write home about; however,the fried okra was very delicious. Read more
My family and I are on vacation from Jasper, AL. We stopped in Shane?s Rib Shack to grab lunch and we?re melted by the sweetest... girl at the counter with the most southern hospitality. All of our meals were fantastic. We looked up different locations closeto us so that we can eat at a Shane?s Rib Shack again. We even discussed how Shane?s Rib Shack would greatly succeed in ourhometown. I definitely recommend coming to eat at Shane?s. Read more

We stopped in Locust Grove for the evening on the way back to Ohio. We looked up, "bbq" and Shane's was the highest rated. And... for good reason! I had the pork melt sandwich (pulled pork, bacon, cheddar cheese) and green beans. It was INSANELY good! Icouldn't stop eating! We happened to go on Mother's Day and they gave out free cobbler to Moms which was nice! Also, we went 30minutes before close and they were still nonstop busy and on top of every order. I usually have great experiences here, but unfortunately tonight I ordered a 4 piece tender crispy. Well I only got 3 full sized... tenders & another one that was tiny, I wouldn?t consider it even a tender it was hollowed out w no meat. The tenders were moreburnt than they were crispy. Luckily, when I called back up there (past closing time I should mention) I got in touch with asweet lady by the name on Tonya, who was a great help!! She put a note in that when I come back in I will get a free 3 piece!This is the only time I?ve ever had a not-so-good experience here & they did what they could to fix the issue!
