McDonals is McDonalds is McDonalds. This one is conviently set in the center of Lodi and is a new(ish) facility. It always seems... neat and tidy. High praise from me for any McDonalds is that it is efficient, clean, fairly quiet. Read more
The many times I?ve gone through the drive thru the employees don?t speak. They don?t acknowledge you, they hand you your order... and close the window quickly. What happened to customer service??? A simple ?hello? would suffice but you can?t even get thathere. Read more
Ordered a happy meal through the app, showed up and parked in a numbered spot. I selected the spot on the app and it gave me an... error code stating to go inside and speak to the counter attendant. I went inside and showed her the message and she called hermanager over. The manager stated that the problem was on the app's end and it wasn't her problem. She also stated that if Iwanted the meal I ordered, I had to order it again and pay for it (again). This was a blatant disregard for customer concerns.This manager was shifting blame from her to the "man behind the curtain", or in this case, the app. When an issue arises betweena customer and a business, there are only 2 sides. In this case, it was me vs Mcdonalds, not me vs the Mcdonalds App vs thisparticular Mcdonalds store. This was a minor inconvenience for me, but a massive disappointment to my daughter, who that day wascelebrating her 8th birthday. The only thing she asked for all day was a Mcdonalds happy meal. I went back to my truckempty-handed, having paid for a meal that was now lost in the ether. I ended up getting her a happy meal at a differentMcdonalds, and it was service with a smile. If there negative stars were available, I would use them. Went for breakfast yesterday, and WOW! Our food went out to a drive... through customer, who then brought it in after opening the sandwiches to see they weren't hers, to an employee who took them outof the bag and closed the wrappers to put them back on the warming table for another employee to pick up and put in another bagwho then tried to hand them to me... How often does this happen? There is no incentive available for me to ever return to thislocation, please do not try. Read more
My long-time friend and I went to the movie theatre and saw a super suspenseful film on May 31, 2022. That was last Tuesday,... when films are discounted cheaper kind of like "Taco Tuesdays". I walked into the theatre at 6:45 for a showing at 7:15 workingup an appetite for after the show. So by 9:00/9:15 p.m. my guy friend and I drove over to McDonald's hoping to grab a quickdrive-thru pickup meal. My friend ordered on the app.--- we had aggreed to go "Dutch" and pay our own ways. I was driving andhe in the passenger seat. Needless to say, everything went fine during the drive-thru experience. But, by the time myacquaintance ate his food and I was getting to mine, it was late and he fell asleep yet, my Mc Double was dry and stale andgross and tasted like a three day old burger. I had ordered the hot and spicy chicken and McDouble for $4.31 after any tax. Andto make a long story short, the next day after prepping for the day and a small amount of my work; it was nearly 3:00/1500 p.m.when I went back to the fast food restaurant ---returning to ask for a refund for an old flavorless, less than fresh dryburger. The woman who I suppose was a manager of some sort said, "I'm not gonna give you any money back because you didn't bring'nothing' back to show me it wasn't good!" I HAD brought about 3 to 4 stale bites of an unsatisfactory "food item" in thewrapper. She was rude, and uneducated, and unprofessional and inappropriate. My Granddaughter idea of the best day ever is enjoying a Happy Meal and collecting all McDonald's Surprise Toy. Due to COVID... take out was the only option for us. Read more
