My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time. It's definitely a lively experience. The host and team members were... friendly and upbeat. We had a great time. The food was delicious and hot. Our server Aurora was fantastic. There was anothertable of quest celebrating a bridal shower and singing along with the music. This is a solid 4.5/5 stars but I'd rather mark them a 5 than a 4. Came here today with friends for a little day trip to Lodi.... I've heard great things about this place so I've had it saved on my map for a long while. Friends were very excited to havemimosas. We got there and the host stand was empty so we were a little confused. The inside of the restaurant was so dark ittook a second for my eyes to adjust. As we stood there, an employee assured us a hostess would be with us shortly so we walkedback outside to the host stand. The hostess asked us where we'd like to sit, inside or outside, so we decided to sit outside.She let us know very quickly that menu was the be scanned via qr code (ugh) on the table. Apparently I was the only who heardher though so it took a second for friends to realize this. Waited was there fairly quick to take our drink order before we hadhad a chance to take a look at the menu but he brought waters for us while we looked. When we finally ordered, I stayed withjust the water and ordered the bananas foster French Toast combo with scrambled eggs and EXTRA crispy bacon. Friend 1 gotPomegranate Mimosa and Nutella French Toast (see photos). Friend 2 got Mango Mimosa (see photo) and some type of eggsbenedict. We were amused that the Mimosa glasses appeared to be glass ice cream dishes since they usually come in champagneflutes. The Nutella French Toast looked really good and Friend 1 had no complaints. She finished her Mimosa but took about halfof her plate home. Friend 2 finished both drink and dish. I started with my eggs that looked a little weird but tasted fine. Mybacon was not extra crispy and one could argue barely crispy. I was shocked buy the size of the French Toast. My only complaintabout the dish was the bananas. They looked as though they had been sitting sliced for a long while as the inside had turnedfairly black by the time I had received them (see photo). This is my second time here and I absolutely love this place!! The staff here are super friendly, and their menu has so many... choices. Their skillets are so flavorful and the portions are big. I always leave with leftovers. Drinks of course are amazingand if you're gonna do the mimosa challenge, this is the right place to be to hype you up!! Just an FYI, for the weekends theydon't take reservations, but it wasn't a long wait. Read more
This is my first time coming with my wife and sister-in-law. We came around 11 in the morning for lunch. As we walk in, their... atmosphere feels a bit up beat as to come in with friends and have a good time, but cozy enough to bring a family in and have anice lunch. We get a booth near the window. Place is clean as my eyes can see. The group behind us is having a blast, laughingand drinking. That's good, I enjoy people having a good, safe time. We order our drinks and food. My wife and in law orderchilaquiles and I ordered meat lovers skillet. Food came out fast and it was a big portion of food so I loved it. My in lawsplate looked dry to be chilaquiles, so que call the waiter and she immediately got her plate fixed, so service was great. Forour drink was a big mimosa, it came out fast and it was enormous. It was a pomegranate flavor it was good as well. Now thingsthat I found negative is that we never got refills on our regular drinks. We dis asked for it but never showed up. Even one ofour waters had dirt on it so we decided not to drink out of it. My fam & I celebrated my 54th bday today & the food, staff & drinks ???????? was phenomenal. I?ll recommend everyone to visit... this place. We all left with food (huge portions)! My husband and I came to Lodi for our wedding anniversary and Mimosas Gourmet was highly recommended. They did not disappoint!... The atmosphere was fun. Our server, Vanessa, was great! Very friendly and energetic. She even surprised us with some celebratorydrinks and had the whole restaurant say Happy Anniversary. The food was delicious and the portions were huge.
