Good selection of products inside the store, and the fuel prices were good for the area (especially with the $0.10 discount per... gallon pilot rewards membership gets you). It's free to sign up for that, after October 31st it goes back to the regular 3 centsa gallon discount but that still helps quite a bit. Employees were friendly and all the lines moved quickly. We'd have no issuesstopping here again to get snacks and refuel. Read more

We, the truckers, or you might call us the people who keep America moving, have a saying: "If it fits, it sits." Let me explain... in greater detail. Our local and state DOT's have failed us miserably in providing safe parking for the numerous trucks that areon the roadways. With all of the rigid rules that dictate our hours of service, when it comes time to take our mandatory breaks, parking becomes a real issue. Truckers can get creative when parking, and 99% of the time, we can invent parking spaces thatdon't hinder the movement of our fellow drivers. I'm part of a team operation. Our truck never really stops, except for fuel, the occasional quick shower, and trading off driving duties every 10-11 hours. After fueling at this location (side note: wewere on a coast to coast run, using Pilot/Flying J for EVERY fuel stop) I proceeded to circle the parking lot, trying to find aspot. I didn't manage to find anything, although I did see several unattended bobtails, hot shots, and box trucks, which thelatter of the two don't actually have sleeper berths, which is an entirely different conversation. I even spotted one truck inthe back, which appeared to have several weeks worth of dust and dirt on the surface, indicating that it hasn't moved in quite awhile. Keep in mind, I wasn't trying to park for 10 hours. My goal was to find a very temporary spot, so my co-driver and Icould swap duties and maybe, just maybe, catch a quick shower. I eventually parked next to another truck that was parked in astriped zone. Now granted, I wasn't blocking anyone, and there was enough space to my left that 3 trucks could pass by me, evenif they were side to side. That's quite a bit of room.So as I'm loading my backpack with clean clothes, I spot a short man witha shiny Flying J name tag. I already knew what was coming next. Before he could start talking, I explained that we wereswitching drivers and we would be parked there temporarily. He then proceeded to say, "the state police Read more

Overall not a bad experience however there are definitely some cons. Parking is extremely difficult to find after 4 PM, the... showers at this location need a massive upgrade and the way the location is laid out is very confusing. However the customerservice was good they had fresh pizza and it was a clean and friendly environment Read more

Trucker here. We don?t usually stop at Flying J but this Lodi location is pretty nice so we often stay here instead of Love?s... (we usually stay at love?s). Not a lot of complaints, it?s a typical truck stop. It?s clean enough, but I wouldn?t say they goout of their way to ensure cleanliness. I usually use the trucker ladies room and there are only 2 stalls, it?s usually hit ormiss with how clean it is. They have laundry facilities and we usually do laundry here, too. Parking is usually available. (Thepic is some disgusting woman who was walking around barefoot and putting her nasty feet on the folding counter, too. Usersbeware! I hope she realizes what a disgusting person she is, but at her age I doubt she has even an ounce of self-awareness.) Read more
