La Fortaleza is a unique Mexican Restaurant, probably one of the most heavily decorated locations that I have ever eaten in.... This past June 2022 my closest friends took me out to eat here and we had a blast, the location is beautiful, they even have asmall gift store inside. Tables are located far apart so even when it's busy, there's plenty of room. The staff is friendly andattentive, refreshments were always cold. The food was delicious and substantial definitely well enjoyed. If requested the staffwill sing for your birthday at no additional cost. You can either call ahead and reserve a table or if you have a small partyyou can just stop in. The second floor is available and used when the 1st level is at full capacity. I believe they also offervalet parking if that's your thing. I look forward to my next visit, consider the prior years were difficult do to COVID-19everythingslowed down. First time and probably last time there. My food was really good, but my rice and beans came cold, as did my whole table. My... mothers dish was completely cold and she barely had it. What a wonderful new Mexican restaurant! LA Fortaleza is a fun and delicious destination. The decor is colorful and campy with... a Mexican wrestling theme, with lively music to match their varied and mouthwatering menu. We went for their happy hour. Wehad the queso dip and flautas, which were so good! Our favorite was the sirloin steak sandwich.. it was A KNOCK-OUT! ???? Ihighly recommend heading out to this fun,delicious place! Read more
Thank you La Forteleza for an awesome meal and incredible night. For those that DON'T want delicious food and DON'T want an... exciting night this place isn't for you. But if you do want tasty appetizers, great food, insane drink section, fun, singing,family type atmosphere you have to go here! There were 3 birthday parties going on and we felt like we were part of all of them.Even the bathroom's are cool. LOL,, Seriously,,, This place Rock's from the second you arrive till you leave! Place is beautiful. However, be prepared to have the waitress offer you and INSIST you try on the most expensive drinks on the... menu. Margaritas size prices are really not what the menu says. I wanted to order a grande: $16. The waitress insisted I get the$22 one to take home. I said I just wanted a $16 pineapple margarita. She said it?s not really $16 but $20 and that I would getmore for my money buying the $22 one. I ended up ordering the medium size margarita, which the menu had for $14. She thenproceeded to mention all the different kinds of tequila I would like with it. I picked coconut and that?s not even what shebrought. The price of that margarita came up to $19. Also, there?s no other choice but Valet Parking since the restaurant is onthe highway. It upset me that the waitress DENIED me TAP WATER. She said they don?t have tap water, only bottles. HOW GREEDY can this restaurant be that they cannot give me tap water after drinking one of their margaritas that had that extra littlebottle of tequila I didn?t even asked for. After we paid, my friends had forgotten they wanted to order something to go. Thewaitress said she couldn?t open another tab and that we would have to order with hostess instead. Place wasn?t even packed. Idon?t like when people (in this case the waitress) act so shady to make you spend more money. Read more
This restaurant has a fun atmosphere. Live music, great food. If in Lodi, New Jersey you should definitely eat here!
Came here on 5/14/22 at 4pm , asked to sit upstairs , waitress told me its closed(But it wasn't ) then got the worse service i... have ever gotten at a restaurant. There was a soggy old chip in my salsa, so the salsa the give you for free they reuse if youdon't use it(And NO one of my chips didn't fall into it, it was there as i noticed it right away)Once our waitress took ourorder we never saw her again. Had to eat the ice in my cup since i couldn't order a another drink. Once I found my waitress iasked her for the check took another 10min. Then i had a 10$ off coupon. Check was 62$, took them 20min to apply the coupon butthen added a 9.34$ gratuity for 2 people? Check ended up to be 64.81$, what a joke? Automatic gratuity for 2 people?? It was noton the first check... not a single manager around didn't want to waste my time, since i will never come back and let everyoneknow how they reuse the salsa ....Before we left went upstairs since we saw people going up, It was open and in full service,had as much people if not more upstairs......Will never go back!!!!! Don't let the reviews FOOL you, They have lots of problemsthat need to be fixed including charging me 18% automatic gratuity for 2 people that got really horrendous service. Read more
