My husband and I had lunch here recently. We ordered the sushi lunch and the Mongolian beef lunch. The food was so good.... Everything was delicious and fresh, and it was served really quickly after we ordered. The serving staff was polite andreasonably efficient. The sushi rolls are reasonably priced. The menu has dozens of types of sushi to enjoy so if you love sushithis is definitely the place to go. There's also a few Chinese options and I think some Thai on the menu as well. The lunch special is hard to beat. If you get water to drink, it's only about $9 after an okay tip. I've never waited more than... 5 seconds to be seated either. The food is good and you get fairly large portions. I'm almost not sure how they're still inbusiness and just bracing for them to raise the price. I'm taking off a star for service. They're not usually the most friendlyand sometimes forget to check on you or bring a fortune cookie. I highly recommend it still for a good deal on some good Chinesefood. Read more
Living in the valley, I have not been here often enough. Good prices and great food. The staff is awesome and the service was... great. I love the sushi and the variety of the menu. Definitely a hidden treasure in Logan and I will definitely recommend it. Read more
On the positive, Black Pearl was clean & quiet and the presentation was very good. Especially the sushi rolls. On the... negative, the the hostess/waitress had a severe lack of people skills. Leading us to our table saying “Come along” as ifwe were an annoyance. The same attitude was displayed when we were finished. “Thank you, thank you” while walking away. The skill of making eye contact would be worth developing. Not once during our meal did anyone check to see how everything wasor refill our water. Nor was the table near us from an earlier group cleared. We got to look at dirty dishes through most ofour meal. No, it was mostly empty. As for the mean itself, my orange chicken was tough and dry. Happy to share that they have a gluten free sushi menu! Had 17 rolls to choose from which was nice.The sushi was delicious and I... will be coming back. Featured in the pictures: mango mango roll, Mexico roll, and the spicy roll. I also tried the Alaska andyellowtail jalapeño traditional rolls. I liked the yellowtail more out of those two. Great service and sushi! We tried the First Kiss Roll, Tiger’s Roll, and Spicy Crunch Roll. The Spicy Crunch Roll wasn’t our... favorite, but we enjoyed the First Kiss and Tiger’s Roll. The fish itself wasn’t very fresh which is why there was a smallturnoff. We were impressed with the service at the restaurant though. Everyone was kind and the service was extremely quick.They even give you wonton chips with duck sauce for free. Overall a good restaurant that’s worth trying a few times! Wow, this place was amazing. Brought our son here for his birthday. He wanted to try sushi for the first time.
