First time visiting here. The girls looked at us Iike we were bugging them right from the start. My daughter asked what kind... of candy they had for toppings and she acted like we didn't know what candy was when the menu doesn't state what varieties therewere. The ice cream tasted like it had too much extract in it. The waffle cones were so thick we couldn't finish them. Thebrownie sundae was OK, but had no whipped cream and I had to ask for a cherry. Went to get a chocolate peanut butter shake. Was disappointed cuz it wasn't a shake at all. It was just soft serve ice cream and... I didnt taste peanut butter at all. Had to eat it with a spoon since it was to thick to drink it like a shake. Won't go again. Read more
We love the ice cream at Charlies, but tonight we experienced terrible customer service. Although we were the only ones in line,... it took more than 15 minutes to order and receive our shakes. We had to repeat our order thrice due to the employees talking toone another as we were ordering. When we finally reached the window, we waited over 10 minutes before someone showed up andasked us if we had paid yet (we had not - there was no one there). We then asked again if the topping requested was on the shakeand the employee did not respond, just handed the shake back to another employee to fix the order. Decent place for ice cream. It was the first trip here for my family. Our almost 2 year old loved her strawberry ice cream. Our... 7 year old like the mint chocolate chip in a dish with a cone. Our 9 year old enjoyed his bubblegum ice cream in a dish. My wifeliked her coconut cream pie shake. My brownie and got fudge shake was decent. We wouldn't have a problem going back.
