It was homecoming night. I called in to pick up. They young lady was very nice and had great customer service.upon arriving.... They were fully staffed and everyone was working. They were prepared for business! And the food was really good. So, whoeveryour cook is...give him/her a raise! It's hard to find good help now-a-days. They knew what they were doing. Last 2 times I?ve come here I?ve had to go to the store to order because no one would answer the phones. I assumed they were... busy but literally no one was in the store and the employees were just standing there talking. Last week when I went, theemployee said ?oh, were you the one calling a bit ago?? and I said yes. she said ?oh, ok.? and said nothing else or evenacknowledge me again after I ordered. Today I went and had to go in to order again because no one would answer yet again, andone employee was sitting eating, yet the other was actually working it seemed, until i saw that she was also making her ownfood. TLDR: Service and food were both good even though it was crowded after the high school had their first football game of the... year. As usual on a Friday night it was busy. There was only one cook and two servers, typical for Waffle House. But alsotypical for Waffle House, we were greeted quickly and very politely. As they were crowded it took longer than the usual ?Wowthat was fast? service they usually give but our waitress was very sweet and apologetic so we didn?t mind. I was there with myyoung teen daughter and in the next booth was another dad with his young teen daughter. There was a large crowd of older boys,late teens and early twenties, and they were using very ugly language very loudly. I heard it but paid it no mind as my daughterhad her earbuds in because she hated the music from the jukebox. But our waitress heard it and chewed them out for it, pointingout that there were young ladies present. I really appreciated that. And the young men, to their credit, said ?sorry ma?am? andcalmed down. Never a boring visit at Waffle House. The food was good, as usual. Like most everybody in the area, this was notour first visit to a WH nor was it our first visit to this WH nor will it be our last. Staff was very attentive. Food was good. This is my third time eating here in the last couple of months. No complaints.
Had never been to a WH. It was clean, service was great, food was really good.
