We go to this Lombard pita pita all the time. I have been to several others and other Mediterranean places in the area. This... place is hands down my favorite and the best one I?ve been to! The food is always amazing and super fresh. Absolutely love thegrape leaves. Started getting the pita bowls and they are so so good!! Also love the baba ganoush and the veggie plate.Everything is always super fresh and prepared with speed and care. The chef Mahmoud is a great cook and very friendly along withthe rest of the cooks and cashiers. Let?s start off positive. The falafels were super tasty and warm and fresh, the pita bread was nice and fresh. Now for some... feedback, they didn?t have the steak shwarma, so I got the beef shwarma. The wrap was very soggy and literally falling a partwhen I opened it. The lettuce was wilted. The hummus also did not have enough garlic in it. I would try it again mid day to giveit another chance. I love this place. This the best middle eastern food in the suburbs. I just love their falafel wrap, hummus and grape leaves.... Their hot sauce is amazing and it adds great flavor to the falafel wrap. I visit once/twice every week here. The food qualityalong with the portion size is great. I would highly recommend it.
