Seems like I share most of the sentiments as of late with this particular Popeye's! Awful experience with 8 piece nugget combo.... Definitely looked like leftover crust from other chicken! One nugget was so small you couldn't find it with a magnifying glass!And then had the nerve to give me 2 sauces as if I needed it! A half container of sauce would have been enough! Definitely notworth $10 plus dollars and some change! Let's just say they won't be getting any of my hard earned money again! And I wasconsidering purchasing the Cajun turkey from them for Thanksgiving....NOT! Probably give you a turkey that looks like a Jewelsbaked chicken!! Read more
Man, that sucked! Got a 5 piece tenders which was mostly breading, Mac & Cheese which was completely encapsulated in a cheese... crust like it's been in the warmer for a week, and mashed potatoes that had a consistency similar to what you would expect ifyou mixed it with some rice. Well I tried biting into my chicken to see that it was raw disgusting.
Very disappointed!!!! We ordered chicken strips got more breading than chicken!! We went through the drive-thru and live 2 hours... away. If we lived near I would have definitely taken the chicken strips back!! We'll never be back to this Popeyes restaurantagain!! Ordered 1 8 piece dinner. Charged for 2. Received one which is fine. Yet.my bank acct was charged for 2. SO now I have to wait... for Popeyes to rectify this erroneous charge. Also chicken seemed old not like others.i have ordered. Also got cold, limp frieswhich I never ordered. Guess I will cross Popeyes off my list! Read more
I gotta say, I only came for the beignets and it was different from the traditional but it?s Popeyes, like fast food what u... expect. That said, they?re fire none the less. Hot, crispy, greasy, sweet, chewy, chocolatey, such an intensely rich experience.I especially loved how as you eat it the gooey warm brown substance comes out of the crusty, yet supple and sweet hole. This Popeye?s has great service and fresh hot food. I had the chicken nuggets, Cajun fries, biscuit and drink. The employee... works hard to get your orders done in a timely manner. If the wait is long it's because they are making you fresh food. Theywere so accurate and extremely polite and they did a fabulous job. I am happy with their food. They are very consistent on thequality of the food here. Thank you for all doing an excellent job. We come here quite often as a family and it's always been apleasant experience.
