Honestly the food is good but the prices are crazy. 70+ dollars for three meals and a garlic bread with no drinks. This fast... food should be way cheaper. Won't be going back until prices are lower. Swiss chalet is better and cheaper. Read more
Have only been to this location. It's the real deal so yummy. Had the Fish n Chips and the shrimp platter. Everything tasted... good. It was a tad greasy so avoid if that is not your thing. Read more
Early morning had a craving for English breakfast????, but it was snowing??, an unexpected snow ????made me and my friend bit... lazy?????????. But due to food craving even though it?s bit freezing????, we took our jackets and marched toward the car and wewere deciding where to go food. Then my friend said one thing ( macha treatu ennadu ) ? I drove straight to Archie?s for English breakfast, what an welcoming entry, feltlike a old style boat with awesome food and crew. For the first time I started loving snow coz we were next to window. Orderedhaddock with fries and grilled salmon. I have fish and chips before, but this had me flatten for food. We both were high onfood. Too good, awesome food and service. Order one meal first, can go bit heavy for two people. We had two meal for two of us(heavy people????). Try sweet potato fries and onion rings as a side. at about 3 25 pm today Sunday the 25,2021 I made an order one piece cod and chips which I picked up at about the 3 37 pm by the... time I reached home I discovered that the fish was burned and the fries ware dray when I call to tell them about it the mangerwas not very stupid about it trying to say that he was not at fault I take it because it looked like he was the one that cookedit. when it comes to customer service or food quality this place is 0 on both counts Read more
Went to Archie's for the first meal out in 2017 and wasn't disappointed. I have been to the Wellington St location for... breakfast many times but this is the first time I have been for dinner. There are a lot of items on the menu and if you're nota fish person Archie's still has lots to offer. Archie's recently got draft beer, I ordered a Coor's light and would suggestthey turn the temperature of the keg cooler down a little as it was borderline warm. The Monday special caught my eye, SeasideSampler: 1 piece battered Alaskan Pollock , 6 breaded shrimp, onion rings, garlic bread and dessert for $12.45. Talk aboutvalue and variety. The fish was good, the shrimp were fried just a little too much for my liking but the onion rings wereamazing. My girlfriend was craving fish and chips and ordered the cod. She said it satisfied her craving. The service wasgood and the staff were friendly. There were only two servers working and the place was half full but we were still well takencare of. Great weekend brunch buffet especially if you're a fish and chip lover. Brunch buffet includes their signature battered fish and... all your favourite breakfast fixings. Visited many times staff are always friendly and buffet selection stocked and fresh. Read more
I've always loved Archie's but I've noticed the prices are getting ridiculously high and the portion of fish has gotten alot... smaller over the years. Makes me think twice about coming as often. Read more
