We've had Bird Box a few times now and their chicken sandwiches are pretty awesome! If you like a bit of heat and spice with... your chicken, then give the Cali Banger a try! The onion rings aren't half bad either. Read more
The spot is okay. It could be the regular fried chicken spot. Not my cup of tea, I think there is better fried chicken spots in... London. I love that they offer waffle fries and corn bread and that they are relatively inexpensive if you don't order through athird-party app. Great location and decor as well. However, I feel like the fries and chicken were over-salted. The chickensandwich wasn't as crispy as like say BTRMLK. I've tried 3 different sandwiches here but I don't think it stood out in anyway.They're okay, nothing special. I do like the cornbread though. Read more
Bird Box was a surprisingly delicious find! We had their We the North box, chicken fingers, Cajun waffle fries, fried pickles... and cornbread. Overall everything gets a solid 8/10 for me!! The fried chicken was BOMB - crispy on the outside and juicy on theinside and flavourful! The We the North box came with Belgian waffle strips and oh my goodness ???? Only thing I would changeis making the boxes more equal in their fries to toppings ratio and making the fries a little warmer and crispier but reallygood meal overall! Read more
Great place, great service. I genuinely forget the name of this, but it was a BBQ fried chicken sandwich with cheese and bacon.... Artery clogging, yes, but they're down town and in a good location to walk to... So burn some calories on your way. Waffle frieswere to die for, but had a bit of kick! Portions are large, prices are reasonable for downtown, and they're following safetymeasures to the letter. I will be back, with friends! Read more
Simply the best. Tried their version of a chicken sandwich in comparison to what Kluck.It, Mary Browns, Popeyes and KFC offers... and my taste buds were blown. So fresh, and full of tasty, delicious flavour. Can't wait to see how this stacks up againstBTRMLK chicken. Read more
Where do I start? The food is amazing, very reasonably priced especially for the huge portions and quality you receive. Not to... mention customer service and short wait times. Went there for the first time with my boyfriend Saturday night, so we decided totry out most of the menu. Ordered a small and a large coleslaw, cornbread, bacon mac and cheese, Cali Banger with waffle cutCajun fries, and the club with regular fries. Our whole order was only $60, and it was ready in 15 minutes on a Saturdaynight. Everything was phenomenal! Super juicy chicken, great breading, both the waffle fries and the handcut were great.Crispy, well seasoned and not dry like most fry places give you. Plus the sauce with each of them were soooo good. Cajun sauce,and what I think was a garlic aioli? Would 100% order that over and over. The bacon mac and cheese did not disappoint either,it was super creamy with lots of bacon. I would also highly recommend the cornbread, it's so good that even my dog stole onewhile I wasn't looking...but thankfully we were given one for free. The Bird Box is definitely 5/5 stars, unfortunately someother reviewers are taking their frustrations for delivery companies mistakes out on them in the reviews which isn't fair. Read more
Used to be my favourite fried chicken spot! Their southern chick and chicken and waffles were really great, a little on the... pricey side but the quality made it worth it! Recently though, they're not available on any online delivery platform I can find(uber, skip, door dash), and the delivery stuff on their website simply doesn't work. Huge bummer because I haven't found anychicken restaurants I like quite as much, and getting it delivered was always a convenient highlight of my week. Read more
