Love Black Walnut! But I second the reviews about the door banging and shouting "Welcome!"... It makes me want to avoid coming... in some mornings when I have just woken up and not even had a coffee yet. Maybe I'm silly haha. But it feels unnecessary. But Ido love the drinks and food. Mostly everything is delicious. It is a big pricey, but it is worth the experience as a specialtreat. I did notice the iced drinks are sometimes a bit gritty like someone commented which I would not expect for the cost. Thehot drinks (like mocha, it's my favourite here of anywhere) are absolutely delicious though. The patio is extremely lovely andI like that you can sit in shade or sun depending on your preference. Inside it gets a bit crowded though but I think they dotheir best with the size of the space and amount of customers, but just know your plans may change if you show up at a busy timeexpecting a seat inside (especially if you are a group). The staff this past year is always absolutely wonderful and genuinelyseems to care about making it a positive experience. The music is always nice and not too obtrusive like some places. Everyone recommended me this café for amazing ambiance and environment. I am myself a big coffee lover so, today I decided to... visit this place despite of thunderstorm in the morning. A great café to visit on the weekend for breakfast/brunch! The atmosphere inside is very nice and feels super cozy. There?s a... good variety of pastries to choose from that are a bit pricey, but for what I believe is worth it. I got the pretzel and herbcheddar scone? pretzel was lacklustre, but the scone was so soft and flavourful that you could really taste the herbsinside!! The staff were very friendly and I got my order quick despite it being noon and quite busy. The longest part of thewait was just standing in line (it took a bit of time for orders to be taken) but other than that, good service. Overall, Idefinitely recommend if you want to go meet with a couple of friends! Maybe not an ideal place to study/work because of how busyand loud it is, but very nice nonetheless. <3 Read more

Nothing is as memorable as having a cup of coffee in the soft sunlight. This Black Walnut Bakery Cafe in the northern downtown... is such a chilled-out place with a great atmosphere. The staff here always smiles, which allowed me to feel very comfortable. Read more

My favourite cafe in London!! Their pastries and drinks taste amazing and they are at a reasonable prices! ???????? if you are... visiting this cafe for the first time, definitely give their cruffins a try! They are amazing!! It?s basically a muffin withcrispy layers and cream inside the muffin! I always get their earl grey tea with steamed non fat milk ????, the flavour is verynice and it?s really good! The interior is spacious and very comfortable! Staffs are super nice and responsive! One thing I wishthey had was wifi, it would be so much better if they have wifi there so people can work or browse on internet but they areamazing ???? Read more
