Sorry to say but this was a disappointing evening. Cheese plate uninteresting, coffee cold even as a send back, the steak was... over done and the pastas, both linguini and couscous, underdone. The chocolate mouse was thin and tasteless, and whipped creamrunny. The service just wasn?t interested, and wasn?t friendly. Maybe Blackfriars was just having an off night, but I would notrush back. Had a phenomenal experience here for our Valentines brunch. The food options were all mouth watering but the best part was the... awesome staff. They gave us great recommendations, chatted casually with us when appropriate and were very efficient. Thisbistro has such a cozy family vibe to it but with some 5-star food offerings. Read more

First thing. Food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We had the beef tenderloin and the salmon and the taste was... exquisite. The decor resembles an outdoor cafe but indoors, with white garden-style mosaic tables and chairs. The art work iscontemporary and certainly a focal point. Service is slow.
