I?ve been going to Burrito Boyz since they were in a hole in the wall in downtown Toronto and then later close to my home in... Port Credit. You know what to expect, every single time and I feel they deliver on that consistently. What I ordered today: 1x Small Chicken Burrito 1 x Pineapple Jarrito What I liked: Service ? the service today was outstanding. The best I?ve had ina while in a takeout environment. Value ? the size of the burrito you get for the $, you can?t complain. Quality ? my burritowas made well today. Proper distribution of contents. Flavours were hitting. Ingredients seemed fresh. I am usually a fan of Burrito Boyz, but I had an odd experience here and was disappointed with the outcome of my burrito. My... burrito was giant, which rocked! But the downfall was that as soon as I started eating, it unfolded and couldn't keep its form.I essentially had a burrito salad after my first two bites. (If you see my photo, after one bite, the burrito started unfoldingand falling apart at the end and middle) The service was ok. I could tell employees were in training, no big deal. One of thepeople working continuously referred to me as "friend." Honestly, I don't mind it but it was so monotone and repeated so manytimes while being served it came off as uncomfortable. Worst burrito i have ever had, it had no flavors or taste. We had to wait over 45 min for our order. I ordered medium spicy and... got mild burrito. Ruined my family's dinner. Employees were super loud talking to each other and customers. I wouldn't go backhere ever or recommend this location to anyone. Read more
I?ll preface this by saying I?ve supported Burrito Boyz for years. But recently it?s been awful. Presentation is sloppy, which... really shouldn?t matter because it?s just a burrito? except when it leaks because it isn?t wrapped properly 50% of the time (seepic). Tried ordering three times this week and despite the hours on Uber Eats saying it doesn?t shut down until 2:30am myorders (both around 10pm) have been cancelled. (See pic) The one order that wasn?t cancelled came with chicken and no sweetpotato, despite it being a sweet potato quesadilla. My friend, who is vegetarian got her first taste of meat in her life becauseof the lack of care from this place. (See pic) Read more
My boyfriend and I ordered some takeout and got a Gluten Free burrito, large regular burrito and the loaded nachos. we?ve come... to this place before and usually have a good experience. when i got there i has to wait a bit for my order to be ready (allgood) only issue was once i got home (3minute drive) the nachos were soggy as if they had been sitting for a long time. my bfsburrito was missing all the sauce on it & my burrito was so soggy i couldn?t even pick it up to eat it and it tasted horrible.was super disappointing to had spent like $50 and we barley ate any of our food because it was so bad and soggy. like i saidwe?ve been there before and had good burritos but definitely was disappointing and a waste of $ won?t be going back.
