This place was the epitome of proper western-style Chinese food way back in the 90's. It was run by an old Asian man, must have... been about 80 - yet, very light hearted in demeanor and pleasant in character. He would joke they don't accept coupons, whilepresenting him with them, again - in a very fun and a pleasant tone and a smirk with a subtle laugh. I miss that man. I was tooyoung to care at the time, but he made an impression. I sorely wish he was still around as his food was always fresh, made inhis kitchen (not frozen off the truck), and absolutely tasty. Today, China Garden is run by someone else, and along with thechange in ownership, the food has also measly changed into offerings of destitute and lonely flavors. Nostalgia doesn't alwaysreward. Lesson in all this, if you have a favorite restaurant today, do enjoy it, as it may not be around tomorrow, and all wecan be left is an imitation of what once was. Read more
Reasonably priced, decent Chinese food. I eat here all the time. But I've only had the vegetable fried rice; my roommate likes... the meat dishes he's had. The glass was broken by jerks because of ignorance and xenophobia; apparently in their minds theseCanadian Chinese are not the very kind and polite people I've met every time I've been there, and I've gotten my veggie friedrice here for years now! I cannot express the depth of the disappointment Im feeling right now. I just spent $89 on food. The meal was going well until... we tried to eat the fried rice. Absolutely disgusting. It was burnt, the smell of it sent me into a spell of dry heaves. Therewas also a hair in one of the other dishes. Im so upset. Read more

Beef and broccoli. Also Sesame seed beef... I went down to pick up these 2 items. Great customer service and I was in-and-out... with in 15 or less minutes! Got the food home and it tastes great! Read more
Walking inside, it looked very questionable but gave it a chance. Found this giant bug inside a chicken ball (see photo). When I... called to complain they tried to justify the bug being there based on whether it was inside the chicken ball or outside on thebreading - as if that should make a difference. Refunded for the cost of the chicken balls ($12) however we purchased about $60worth of food and all of it was thrown out immediately after finding the bug. Will never go back again. Read more
First time ordering, very, very impressed. I'm loyal to Manchu Wok while shopping in the mall, but for takeout, this is my new... place. So much for so little price, delivery was very fast and very nice! Food is more than what you expect for a takeout place.Delicious and got enough leftovers for another meal. 7/7. Read more
