We visited Chop Steakhouse for my graduation and the service and food were both terrific! Our waiter, Milo, was extremely... personable and attentive, and the restaurant even provided a mini desert on the house and a congratulations card signed by manyof the other staff. Dinner with girlfriends at Chop was amazing last night!! We did the food and wine pairing and would highly recommend to anyone... looking for a great date night, couples night or friends night. Meagan McDonald and Andrew Whitney were incredible hosts andtook time to explain the pairings in detail. Went to the Chop Steakhouse for the first time last night. What a wonderful experience. Our server was so friendly and polite.... She was very attentive without being over baring. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I have never had a better steak in mylife. Cooked to perfection with a flavorful crust served with a side of the most buttery creamy bernaise sauce; delicious. Butwhat we all agreed was the most appealing was their basket of charity bread. What a great way to give back to the communitywhile enjoying a warm loaf of bread. It just felt good. I ordered the Steak and Lobster. It was amazing. We also had the Lobster Chowder, plus escargot to start. I wasn't a fan of the... escargot but the Lobster Chowder oh my... Delicious. I actually told them the escargot wasn't great and they removed it from ourbill. Our server was wonderful and very polite. My meal was perfect and tasted fantastic. I bring my family and friends here for special occasions. Me and my spouse had our three year anniversary and everyone who works... here made it amazing!! Started off with chilli garlic shrimp and their prime rib sandwich. Had a cherry blossom mojito and aTony Mendez to go with it. They took the bone in rib eye off of the menu recently and that’s what we usually order, but theywere able to get us some boneless rib eyes (the ones they use for their smoked rib eye) and they were just as good! We alsoordered the Chop Mule on tap and the pink lemonade to go with our steaks and they were so flavourful and tasty. My favouritething about their alcoholic beverages is that they’re not overly sweet and sugary, they have the perfect balance of flavour,sweetness and alcohol. We finished off our night with the cheesecake (the sauce is to die for) and crème brûlée. The managerAndrew was absolutely amazing and he remembered us from our previous visits. Super friendly and down to earth. Even rememberedmy parents who I brought there two years ago and asked how they were doing. Our waiter was super quick and very helpful. Shewasn’t hovering and we never lacked anything. All in all, for our three course meal it only took about an hour and a half.Went home with lots of leftovers to snack on later. Whenever someone asks for my favourite steakhouse, I always say Chop. I’vebeen coming here for over 5 years to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, and I don’t think I’ve ever left disappointed.My steak is always cooked perfect.
