My first time going since before the pandemic. The atmosphere used to be comfortable. Now it was cold and unwelcoming. There... wasn't a single customer other than myself. When I saw that all the tables were painted with the words "short stay only" and "nolaptops", it wasn't hard to guess why. The coffee was bitter and lukewarm and when I asked for a refill, I was met with quietcontempt. I don't often review places, but this cafe left an unpleasant taste in my mouth. This place is beautiful! It?s perfectly located downtown, and the inside is a great spot to hang out or to get some work done. I... was debating on what to have, (it was late afternoon, could I still get away with coffee?), but I ended up deciding on thelavender lemonade. It was so delicious! I didn?t even miss coffee (which is saying a lot for me HA!). I don?t even know how theexplain it, but the lemonade itself was great, and the lavender was the icing on the cake. My friend took me here in the morning for some donuts as he knows I love going to different donut shops around Ontario. The... donuts were big which was great and were very soft. The icing also was on the softer side which was nice opposed to that hardlayer some icings create. Would definitely come back when in London. Read more
I absolutely loved this little cafe! My mom and I were in London for the day and I had found this place through searching online... for cafes. The staff were super friendly, and don?t even get me started on the donuts! They were the BEST afternoonpick-me-up?super light and extremely tasty. Also, another selling point was that the cafe was very accommodating to my coffeeneeds (aka my super specific coffee order????)! Read more
