A beautiful dining experience from start to finish. The crafted spooky cocktails took the cake. The lumos drink was given with... such flare you couldn’t not like the drink…. Which was also so tasty! The food and cocktails were delicious and the service was amazing. However, I found that the tables were too close to one... another, making it difficult to leave your seat without apologizing to the adjacent tables and over hearing their conversationsfrom the other tables. If they can remove a table or 2 and space it out more, it would feel more comfortable. Other than that,the restaurant was amazing, and I would recommend to others. Read more
Went there for my birthday yesterday. What surprised me were the amazing combinations of flavours and textures in each of the... dishes. These are combinations of flavours and texture that won't be found anywhere else. Portions of each dish were small, butthe food was itself filling. After drinks, 6 dishes split between 3 people we totalled $224. All in, this experience wasexcellent. They even threw in some shots when we asked what people drink with oysters and a desert on the house. Good serviceand Excellent food left us feeling happy to have gone there and excited to go back. Book a table in advance - but stay at the bar! These bartenders are a fantastic bunch (Ali if you're reading this - you were 50%... of the amazing dining experience!). FOOD: Oysters are top quality, and the garnishes are amazing. If you sit at the bar youpractically can have oysters that were shucked seconds ago - practically as fresh as it gets. I ordered the mexican street corncroquette, salmon poke, roast Bone Marrow (MUST TRY+ A whiskey shot through the bone!), and cod and Scallion Cakes. All of whichwere presented beautifully and tasted 5/5. They also have features that change every night - but if you have the space - I'dtake a chance on these one of kind dishes any day. DESSERT: What was really nice is they gave us a desert, and nothing is toosweet - but rather very rich. A creme brûlée with actual vanilla bean and a chocolate cake (my favourite) thatsperfection. DRINKS: You will definitely easily score top 3 bars for quality here. Beyond traditional stuff- they can easilymake and tweak any drink if you ask. One of the best dining experiences we have had! I have to first recognize our incredible server Ally, she went above and beyond... for us. Thank you Ally! We started with oysters and loved the different accoutrements (my favourite was the cucumber relish!).We tried the calamari, burratta, bison skirt steak and duck dumplings. Everything was fabulous and beautifully presented. It wasexciting to try such a range of different dishes. We also tried a couple different cocktails - my favourite was the Sydney LouWho. Our night finished with the earl grey crème brûlée for desert - it was so creamy and one of the best I’ve tried.Overall, the atmosphere is wonderful and the food/drinks are the best you will find in London.
