This place does not have their own bakery station within the store which I noticed seen in few other Valu-marts in different... locations; but it does have a meat counter with varieties of products. Read more

This place closes at 7pm on a Sunday. I went to the deli and asked for sliced meet at 6:37pm. Guy comes up and says I can't help... you and I asked why and he told me he has already cleaned the equipment. I asked him what time is the deli suppose to close andhe told me 6:45pm. Avoid these people. Read more

Good for random purchases, but do not ever shop here for your main source of groceries!!!! Incredibly overpriced on many items.... Often bad produce at same prices as the better Loblaws locations. (Wonderland and masonville) Read more

This groceries store is a favorite place to go for most things. It's not a huge store so I can get in and out quickly if I need... only a few items. Most of the time parking is easy. One of the things I like best about it is that the store has a realcommunity feel to it. It is supported strongly by the local residents of Wortley Village. To shop there feels like one way tojoin with and support others in creating the unique, "small town" within a big city that Wortley is. Read more

Great store. Glad that we can set out bags on the counters again and that staff are back to bagging if you'd like. Most cashiers... are still masked, which is nice... especially considering it's not mandatory anymore. Most staff are helpful and friendly.Prices are a little high vs other stores, but the convenience, cleanliness, and the friendliness make it worth it :) Read more

Convenient location. Limited selection. Poor quality produce. Be aware that cashiers will not bag your groceries into your... reusable bags and there is no way to keep your distance while packing your own. Unless maybe you have them put everything backin your cart and you bag outside from your cart. Cashiers not masked. Happy to touch the groceries you touched but not the bagsyou brought from home. Happy to have you go behind their plexiglass to bag. Makes no sense. All of the checkout counters are tooshort at both ends. Read more

A cornerstone of the Wortley Village, Valumart provides fresh produce, a good deli and everything else expected from a mid size... grocery store. One of the strengths is a good butcher on site. Prices are higher than the discount stores but the convenienceand quality is worth it Read more
