I am an avid Korean foodie. My group had a craving and I searched this new restaurant in London. We tried kimchi soup, udong,... kimchi udong, and pork katsu. The dishes came out in a reasonable time, well-prepared, and nicely decoated. The tastes were veryauthentic and perfect. My dish with kimchi had the right kind of sour and spicy taste. In time of food shortages and rising costof food, the restaurant has managed to keep the cost at reasonable level. The interior was very modern and clean. Delicious Korean food, clean restaurant and friendly service. The decorations are very cute. Wide variety on their menu with... many types of katsu. Ultimately decided on pork curry katsu, along with jjajangmyeon and flying roe hot stone bibimbap. I'venever had Korean food in Korea but this restaurant's tastes really suits my palate. Tried this out when they first opened! You can tell they take great care of how they make the food and the restaurant always... seems clean and bright! Great ambiance to dine in and have a fun dinner with friends. Got the shrimp Katsu and got so many otherdishes (rice, fries, miso soup, fruit, salad, pickled radish) while my partner got the King Katsu! plentiful AND affordable!Give them a try! Read more
This place is DELICIOUS. I ordered the chicken katsu and was blown away! I've eaten katsu at different locations and while I... enjoy the big slab of meat cut into strips, I greatly enjoyed these battered strips. The fruit sauce is surprisingly good (Igravitate towards curry sauces but was intrigued by a fruit sauce!). The katsu udon was really good too! The inside is brightand clean. Two different kpop MVs play on muted tvs, while a different kpop song plays in the restaurant, so if you like thatmusic genre, you'll enjoy the vibes here! Staff were friendly and cheery! 10/10! Food were just absolutely delicious. Loved the vibe and atmosphere, cool decors, family owned, friend and helpful... staffs. The katsu is freshly made and comes out hot and crispy. Everything were just so well presented. Only critique was theserving size could be slightly bigger. The seafood noodle I had was delicious but left me wanting more after. Despite theportion size, Katsume is still highly recommended in my book and would definitely visit again. Oh, don?t forget to try theirfruity drinks! Read more
This is the best Korean restaurant in town! The family owned business when every detail is taken care of, the service is on... point, the cleanliness, the ambiance with favourite kpop songs playing :) But the most important, the food tastes so good! Had the King Katsu which was served piping hot with fresh fries and a nice selection of sides. Went just after lunch and only... waited 10minutes for food. Kpop sets the mood when you walk in, food was great and good value as well. Read more
