When one goes to Kelsey’s they expect a certain standard for service & food quality, unfortunately I received an... unsatisfactory experience. I ordered ribs & wings which came within 10 minutes of ordering. I could instantly tell it wasn’tfresh and was waiting to be ordered. Service wasn’t bad but when you pay $30 for a half rack and 4 wings you expect it to atleast be warm. I expect more from a franchise like Kelsey’s. Read more

I've been visiting this Kelsey's as long as it has been in its current location and even longer when its previous location is... added. I first discovered Kelsey's after a health scare required that I start a lot more walking. Lunch at Kelsey's was theperfect distance and I have been visiting at least weekly for a very long time. Why? Several reasons. First, the food is verygood and very consistent. Yes, the menu occasionally changes, but the quality does not. Second, the staff are both attentive andknowledgeable. I have only very rarely had a bad experience with Kelsey's staff. All of those limited bad experiences were dealtwith. Third, the locations and decor are outstanding. To this I will also add that I have never felt rushed to finish my mealand get out. I will regularly spend 2 hours over my lunch and even after I've finished eating, my coffee continues to come untilI've finished whatever I was working on or reading and decide that I need to move on. Kelsey's north (1395 Fanshawe Park Rd.W.) has just completed a renovation and the interior has a class and comfort that is hard to explain. Yes, it is still a barand restaurant but being there always feels like I have stayed home. Comfort food? Perhaps. I must admit that I have not triedeverything on the menu but all of the dishes I have tried have been excellent. Among my favourites I must mention theirChicken-Caesar salad and their Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger. And the Broccoli-Cheddar soup is also good. And their fajitas and...Everything is excellent and consistent and I do not plan to stay away while they are open. Yes, Kelsey's is a chain restaurant.But when the owners, management and staff go out of their way to ensure that their customers get what they want and enjoy theexperience, then a sort of magic happens and the chain itself becomes less important than the people representing the chain. I have been going to Kelsey's on Fanshawe personally and with staff for a number of years and the vibe is always on point! ... Service is top notch and the food is always excellent. If I had any recommended improvements, it would be to bring back theRoasted Red Pepper soup. ????. However, all the items in the menu are amazing! Read more

Someone really needs to fix the transitioned floor in your dining room between the lower centre area and the outer "hardwood"... material!! Our server tripped on it and wiped out taking away our menus, my wife tripped on it and almost rolled her ankle.When we mentioned it to the server she said it was a known issue and had hoped it would be fixed during your rebrand renovationsbut it wasn't. How can you ignore this!?!? A customer or employee is going to have a serious accident and you're going to getsued! Otherwise, food was great; loved the hand made burger patties, the new hand cut angry spiced fries were awesome, andloved the Route 78 hard soda with the charitable concept. Fix your floor!
