First time at this restaurant and will not be returning. The food was good , but the wait was agonizing. 1hour and 15 min got... main fold, 40 min for appetizer and then after asking for the bill it took 25 minutes of waiting. Visiting London for a concert we picked La Casa based on reviews and feeling like Italian. The staff, food and atmosphere did... not disappoint. Entering the restaurant we were greeted immediately, even though the place was pretty full due to the concert.The staff were very friendly and attentive, while still ensuring every was served in a timely and professional manner. The menuwas superb, with a great selection of old favorites along with some innovative dishes. Wine selection was a lot better thanexpected, with a large variety of vintages, and selection possible for size. When the food was brought to the table, thedelights started immediately. Great presentation with well thought out menu selections mean from the starters thru main courseand ending with dessert you will not be disappointed with sight, smell or taste. We had a fantastic experience here mid August! I work for an agency for the handicapped and had brought two of our clients in... for dinner before a show. Our server Darlynn was an absolute doll. She was interactive with our clients and made sure we gotour food and settled up before our show at the bud gardens. She even got a few great photos of us as a group. New favourite Italian restaurant! The food was phenomenal. We loved that they served bottles of VQA Niagara wines. We also... really appreciated that La Casa has gluten free pasta! You can tell from the taste that fresh ingredients are used. Todd was ourserver and he was absolutely amazing! We were in town for an event and didnt have reservations but were warmly welcomed. They were able to happily accomadate our party of eight on a Friday night, the food, service and atmosphere were amazing!... Everyone was so impressed with our waiter, and the selections in the menu. I recommend the risotto of the day! Read more
