Went to Mexicactus for dinner with a group of 3. Ordered the chicken quesadilla a la grande. Decent portion size, lots of... flavour but missing some heat. It would be nice to have some hot sauce on the table but probably not there because of covid. Thewaitress let us know to ask next time we go. The chips and salsa they give you to share with the table are excellent. My dinnermates ordered tge burrito and tacos and enjoyed both meals. The service was excellent. Yummy enchilada! Didn't care for the appetizers that we had which were the coconut shrimp and stuffed jalapenos. The shrimp were... ok but they were served with tartar sauce and that was a weird sauce for the shrimp. The jalpenos were mushie. The main disheswe had were excellent. Overall a solid 4 stars. Chicken Chimi, deep fried ice cream and a Mexican burger for a change. We have went here several times and have really enjoyed... it. This time chimi had barely any sauce, tiny bit of sour cream dropped ontop (I had smeared it before the pic), very littlerice or beans. I was so surprised!! Tasted great as usual but skimpy serving this time. Burger was good but will stick toauthentic menu in the future. Ice cream was fantastic ???? I could see going there, just for that. Read more
It was fine. Customer service was amazing! Michelle was great and welcoming. Good place for a casual hangout. I would have... liked a bit more tangy flavours added to the tacos.
